  1. Ok first of all I heard that the BF Best Buy ad was online now so I went to BB.com to see it, put my zip code in and it only had this weeks flyer. I put in a FL. zip and it had the BF flyer! What does this mean? I asked my store like a week ago and they said they had BF so I shouldn't be worried right?! Second, like I said I'm looking to buy the $699 HP Computer and it is not a Door Buster, so do I need to camp out for that? Should I scope it out the night before? If I can waltz in at like 9 or 10 and get it thats what I'm going to do!
  2. My son, 6, has the DS and he LOVES it! The games are more for that age, the PSP is for more adult games. Yes you can us GBA games on the DS. I have a DS lite and I like it even better. It's smaller and has 4 levels of brite for the screens. I think the DS lite will stay around $130 or $150 for bundles, but if you want even cheaper you can get the original DS for I'm sure under $100 on BF. Make sure that they don't have there heart set on a PSP and you get them a DS, that might make them ungratful and make you plain mad. If they don't care which one than definatly get the DS or DS lite!
  3. Does that computer have a free upgrade of Vista? If it does I think that would seal the deal for that computer! I figure this time we would spend the money on a really good computer so it will last longer than the cheap ones! The computer I have right now was only good for about a year than it turned to crap! Thanks guys!
  4. Does this look like the computer at BB for $699? Plus the monitor of course! http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8020214&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat103700050069&id=1156607398409
  5. The one in BB BF ad for $699, is that a good computer and a good deal?
  6. I was hoping for something under $500, but willing to got to 7 or 8. I don't have to have intel, just my experience that they are better. Like I said I have Win ME, a Celeron and everything else that is old! My musts are 17' flat panel and a DVD burner. Any suggestions?
  7. So what are the best processors? I always believed that Pentiums were that best, I was hoping for some Pentium 4s to be on BF since the Core Duo came out. Also someone told my husband at work that it wouldn't be worth getting a new computer unless it had Windows Vista in it, right now I have Win ME I think Win XP would be fine! Anyone agree or disagree?
  8. Are you sure this is the same model?
  9. I bet that's it! I think I'll keep looking, not exactly what I want. I went to BB tonight to find out about the one for $220 and he said thay had one like and hour away and it was the display and was $300 and something. Guess I'll have to keep searching!!! Anyone know about the other desktops, like the one for $399 and $699?
  10. Does anyone know the model # for the desktop for $189?
  11. Is it better to get the T6536 that BB has on close-out for about $220 (but no monitor): Is this in store now? Couldn't find it on the BB site.
  12. I'd like more info on the Best Buy desktops too! Are any of them (especialy the one for $189) worth it?

    $199 laptop???

If it is true I don't know if I want to go NEAR Wal-mart on BF! But it may be good for me cuz I'm looking for a nice desktop!
  14. My Wal-mart is a Supercenter but not 24hrs, they will be opening at 5am.
  15. My son has the VSmile Pocket and the regular Leapster, he and I both prefur the Leapster. The graphics are better and they have games where you can use the stylus like a pen and draw. I also think the Leapster games are more educational. Which ever one you deside on definatly get the rechargeble battery pack! They can go though 4 AA batteries in 90 miles!:)
  16. I've seen this on TV, they have national tornaments and everything. I think it would be worth the $20 if they really want to get into it. Maybe you can buy some plain plastic cups now to make sure they really want it and if they still do, I'd spend the $20!
  17. Though this was cute! Here is the link for the whole article: http://www.punny.org/money/five-ways-to-die-this-black-friday/ I almost died three years ago on the day after Thanksgiving. Well, “almost died” may be a stretch. We’ll just say I feared for my life. Was it a bad case of turkey poisoning? After-holiday blues? Nope, just a good old-fashioned case of going to Wal-Mart on a Black Friday. If you’ve never been to Wal-Mart on a Black Friday (you know, that magical day of shopping deals right after Thanksgiving), here’s what you’ll find: * Incredible bargains. * Amazing deals. * Sales events of the year! * A mob of absolutely freakin’ insane sub-human creatures. black friday, all hope abandon ye who enter here I’m still too traumatized to fully recount the experience, but let’s just say I won’t be going back to Wal-Mart on a Black Friday ever again. In fact, I won’t even leave the house that day. Of course, nothing should stop you from venturing out on Black Friday to save yourself a few bucks… except maybe your sense of self-preservation. But if you don’t mind a little trip to the afterlife to snag that bargain, here are a few ways you can make sure you don’t make it to Saturday, November 25th. * Check out the ads early. Black Friday advertisements are already starting to show up on the internet. The best source for scans of store flyers is GottaDeal.com. Start filling your shopping list with one amazing deal after another! Electronics, clothes, furniture, toys–all at rock-bottom prices! So… many… deals… Oops, you just died of a heart attack from all that excitement. * Eat a good meal ahead of time. You just downed six pounds of turkey, three boxes of stuffing, and two cans of cranberry sauce, so you should have plenty of energy, right? Wrong! You’re gonna be doing a lot of running, maybe some jumping, and you might even need to throw a punch or two to secure that Tickle Me Elmo. So if your caloric intake on Thanksgiving was anything less that 20,000, then congratulations–you just died of lethargy. Or you simply passed out and hungry shoppers ate you while you slept. * Get in line at 2am. If you want to make sure that those Free After Rebate goodies fall into your hands, you’ll need to get up pretty early in the morning. Just keep in mind that temperatures start getting chilly in late November, especially overnight. Wait, you did forget, and now you died of hypothermia. * Push your way to the front. You pull onto the parking lot at 5:50am thinking you have a chance at that $100 Invisible Walking iPod, but you see 7,000 people already in line. So you drive home, right? No, that would be lame. Instead, you wait ten minutes until the doors open and charge head first into the stampeding crowd. You push and shove and bite and… wait, you didn’t just bite that 400-pound lady who’s gotta have her $100 Dell computer, did you? Sorry, you just died of angry large woman. * Take what you can get. You’re finally in the store, but you can’t find those darn $12 DVD players. But that’s okay, there are other deals to be had. You’ll just have to settle for the $20 weight set, $50 color television, and $99 stereo system. Unfortunately you forgot to get a cart, and you died of a herniated everything trying to carry all that stuff to the register. And should you manage to survive the horrors you witness this Black Friday, don’t fret because the bird flu, nuclear war, or junk food will finish the job soon enough.
  18. I don't know about everybody else but after what I heard about last year at BB they would have to have my dream desktop for an awsome price for me to even think about going there! I'm waiting for Wal-mart.
  19. Wow you were busy writing those down in the store huh?! I believe that they just keep the overstock there for just the regular toys. Possibly could be for upcoming sales, you never know.

Do you think there will be any difference for us risk-takers that bought a bunch and want to sell them?

My 21 month old says - Emo! Does anyone know if there is a difference between the TMX that has TOP SECRET on it and the one that says WARNING? They were making a point on eBay to tell you which one they have for sale.
  22. Southeastern NH AVERAGES Hi 47°F Lo 30°F RECORDS Hi 62°F Lo 15°F Last year was ALOT colder than that! We are already about 10 degrees below average!
  23. A desktop. With exactly what I want and need for under $500!
  24. I agree. If you feel that your 13 is reponsible to babysit your kids and you do leave your kids with them, why would you even consider bringing them with you?! If you leave your kids with your 13 year old than why would this be any different? Me personaly, I have a 6 year old boy and a 21 month old girl and I would not even consider bringing them with me. I would rather stay home.
