  1. I won't buy anything but iPods. They are just better in every aspect. Find out why she wants the iTouch. Is it for the touch screen, for the apps and game, for the fact it's an iPod. iPod has others not just the iTouch, which is now $191 at Wal-Mart http://www.walmart.com/iPod-Touch-2nd-Gen-8GB/ip/10542374, there's even the new Nano that has a built in video camera! http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=12343475 Anyhow, if she if she really wants the iTouch I wouldn't get her a no-name touch screen because the screen is not going to have the same response. The iTouch has a glass screen and responds to the heat from your fingers. Other touch screens, like cell phones, respond to pressure. Comparing them is like comparing apples to oranges! Oh and iTunes is only compatible with iPods.
  2. I'll probably be spending the same or slightly more. We are doing a lot better this year because I started working too. Last year was also our first year in our new house so things were still tight. We're settled in now so as long as there are great deals I'll probably be spending more! :)
  3. Too bad you didn't wait! Prices just went down on the Touches and they reveled the new ones today!
  4. I've never tried on-line BF shopping before. When are you able to make purchases?...midnight?...5am? Is a lot of the stuff that's in-store also on-line? I have noticed that Cyber Monday isn't all that great. Do they have door busters on-line? Any info would help! Thanks!
  5. The beginning of September is a liiittle too early for me!
  6. I am soo doing this! I wish I had a 24hr Wal-Mart to go to! We had one but it closes at midnight now. It may be open 24hrs for BF but it's not in a "nice" area anyway.
  7. Netbooks (at least my niece's) do not have a CD or DVD drive so you can't use it as a portable DVD player. Also the one's with Windows do come with Word but be prepared to have a bunch of flash drives or an external hard drive because they don't have much memory. I'm still planning on getting at least one this BF, maybe 2 if they are under $100!
  8. Last year my Toys r us in Newington, NH was great! Lines were long, but organized, and moved quite fast! I had to compliment the manager especially after the horrid experience I had just had at Wal-Mart! I would go again!
  9. I tried to go to Best Buy for BF 2 years ago. I got there about 8pm Thanksgiving and the line was already past BB and 2 other stores! People had tents, heaters, guitars, recliners...you name it! BB BF people are crazy!
  10. I'm hoping for a green DS, preferably not in a bundle like they are right now, for $99 or less! I'll cross my fingers for the both of us!
  11. Is there anyone in southern NH that can help me find a Wal-mart to go to on BF? Last year I went to the one in Seabrook (never again!) but the sheer number of people were outrageous!...they were rude!...and some were even drunk! (Don't get offended, I live in Seabrook! ) Anyway, I'd like to find one that the people are even just a tad civil! Probably between Portsmouth, Newington and Epping. Or any other that you know of that is good. Thanks!!!!! :)
  12. If I have to only pick 5... 1. 19" LCD TV for DD's room and 26" + for master 2. Netbook 3. new GPS 4. possibly a Blue Ray 5. Nintendo DS lite (hopefully will FINALY go on BF!) Of course I'm also going to check out the video games and toys!
  13. My HP computer I bought at Best Buy I think 3 years ago...still just as fast! 8" Portable DVD player for $50 from Wal-Mart last year, I take my daughter to work so it's been a life saver! Use it a few times a week at work and her DVD player in her room broke so we use it every night in there too! The battery life is horrible so we always plug it in, even got a car lighter plug for it so we can use it in the car. And my $250 JVC hard drive camcorder from Wal-Mart last year is awesome! :)
  14. I bought the $200 Mini DVD Camcorder last year at Wal-Mart...what a piece of junk! I HATED it! Luckily I found that out that day and went back and they still had the JVC hard drive Camcorder for $250 so I exchanged! I love my new one! Still works great! If anyone needs a camcorder this year get a hard drive! It's SOO worth the extra couple of bucks! :)
  15. As someone else stated...I don't think "hiding" items is ANY different or worse than buying a item and going back for a price adjustment! :)
  16. I CAN"T believe that no one has come though with a good ad scan yet!
  17. A friend of mine that works at Sam's said that as far as she knows, they will only have 1 Wii for BF! I told her they would have a lot of unhappy people! She said she didn't care because she got BF off!

    So Mean!

Oh that was so mean to put Wal-mart under the ad-scans! I saw it there and go so excited! Clicked on it and...nothing! How am I supposed to wait until Monday?!
  19. Bon-Ton = Elder Beerman = Younkers = Boston Store I've never heard of any of them! :)
  20. I called my Kmart earlier and they said if I have BF items on lay-a-way I can come in during BF, pay-off the lay-a-way, return the items at the service desk and re-buy them at the BF price. I'm assuming because they said that the lay-a-way counter would be open. Right?
  21. Yes they will adjust on BF if purchased within 7 days. And yes you need to actually bring the item in with you, return it and re-buy it. I plan on putting what I want for BF on lay-a-way and picking it up, returning it and re-buying it on BF! I called earlier that's what they told me.
  22. I signed up for the text alerts and they have nothing on their website about a sale this weekend yet. I saw a paper sign in the door on my Wal-mart last night but I was running late and didn't get to read it. I think it said something about blitz items or time. I will check it again tonight.
