Figures I hate Circuit City and all of them in NH and MA are staying open! Ever since last year at BF when I walked out of there at 4:30am (after beings there since 9pm) with NOTHING!...I refuse to go back. I would've gone back for liquidation though! hehe!

Ok, I just saw a video of the Elmo Live and I'm sorry but that is one of the creepiest toys I've ever seen! So glad my kids could care less!

I chose BB but Wal-Mart comes in a close second! I love Target but there isn't one close enough.

I bought one for myself off walmart.com, 8g for $227 with free site-to-store shipping. They had them so I bought one. I didn't want to wait too long because with my luck I wouldn't be able to find any! They did have the 1st generation for $209, they might clearance them some more for BF. Also the 3rd generation Nanos were clearanced but still more than the new 4th gen. with double the gigs!

Ok so last year was my first BF experience. I live in New Hampshire and it was about 42o last year at 9pm. My SIL needed to of the $199 laptops from BB. So we got to BB about 8:30 Thanksgiving night and the line was already down to the end of the plaza! There were people with tents, recliners, propane heater, guitars, you name it! Since I knew they were only going to have about 15 laptops I figured it was pointless so we decided to head to Circuit City because they had ones for $249 I think. Anyway so we were there from about 9pm till 4:30am when they came out with the tickets. Wouldn't you know they were out before they got to us! I was soo mad! We left and hopped around a few more stores and ended up going home with the free snow globes from JCP...and that was it!!! There needs to something very specific and a GREAT price for me to go through that again!!!

I may be braving BB for BF for the first time this year to get a laptop for my nephew that is in Children's Hopital right now with cancer. I live in NH. What time do you think I should get in line? Looks like it's going to be in the 20s to 30 that night. Thanks!

I am going to be looking for a 42"+ LCD TV (along with everyone else I'm sure!), a flat-screen regular 20" TV for my son (his 13" died) and a Pink Gameboy SP for my daughter (she's young so I don't want to spend the $80 for one regular price). I got my computer (which I love!) last year so I think that's all I need for this year! (Thank god there's no TMX Elmo to deal with this year!!! LOL!!!)

I used to work at TRU and I know that if something rings up at a price that is lower than you thought it is most likely marked down and just didn't have a sticker on it. This has happened to me at various stores. If it is a computer error, there is nothing you can do anyway! There is no way if you said something that they would mark it up just for you! I've also had alot of cases of someone didn't take down the sale sign when the sale was over and they have to give it to you for that price. Trust me, if any of this happens to you be happy! It's there fault and usually employee screw up!

I've never used them but i know that PayPal does have dicount codes, ther is a spot to type them in when you are making a payment.

Yesterday at Kmart I was purchasing the Fisher-Price Magnetic Easel that I haven't been able to find anywhere! And the sign said 20% off! When she rang it though it came up the regular price of $29.99, so I said something and she got a flyer and went over to the service desk, when she came back she voided it and then rang it in again with an override price of $19.99! I could've easily said something but I didn't! I'm horrible but X-Mas is killing me this year with two kids that know everything (my DD was only 10 mo. last year!)!

Actually they say to use on the carpet because the fine sand particals are easier to vacuum than sweep on a hard floor. Just got back from Walgreens and they had the small tubs so I got a couple. they were $3.99.

Anybody know where I can find the Castle kit? I've called every Wal-mart, Toys 'R Us, Target, Kmart and KB toys in my area! Any other places that sell it? Thanks!

Got my new computer, all hooked up already! I got the HP for $699 at Best buy. I called this morning and they said they had plenty, by the time I got there he said he sold 20 in the last hour and he just sold the last one! I freeked! I asked him to look if anyone else had them and he did and was like it says we have 15 so I'll go look. He found them! I was so excited! What an idiot though! Oh well! I'm still getting to know my new computer but I love it so far! Leaps and bounds from my old 'puter with a slow celeron and Windows ME!!!!

Ok went to my BB and asked about the HP desktop for $699 and he said he didn't know how many but it's way more than the min. of 8. He said I shouldn't have to camp out for it as long as I get there early I should get one. I also saw the UNO DS game out and there where only like 5 and the regular price was only $5 more so I got one and when I looked at my recipt in the car it was already marked down to $14.99! Sweet! I'll be back Fri. morning but I'll have my kids so it won't be EARLY!!! PS- They had TONS of the Canon printers stacked up but that doesn't say much cuz I think it comes free with all the computer they will have on sale!

I live in southeast NH and I just checked Weather.com and it said mostly sunny for Thurs. and partly sunny for Friday, nothing was said about a Nor'easter?!

Does anyone have a opinion on which is better, the HP at BB for $699 or the HP at Staples for $699? The only difference so far that I've seen is that the BB one has a Core Duo 2 and the Staples has a AMD Athelon. I'd rather have the Intel but Staples is right down the street and BB is 30 min away and will probebly be more crazy! Is the Intel worth the 30 min drive? Also the on at BB isn't a door buster so could I go later in the morning? Thanks!
