My DD9's grade school the 4th grade goes and collects names off of an angel tree at our mall and they buy for all the Angels they collect for.. They ask for each child to bring $5 for the Angel tree shopping.. We pick an angel off the tree and buy for that angel as well.

Yes usually I buy my own gifts.. But do refuse to fill my own stocking..

I think that was circuit city wasnt it?? I know circuit city had one because "Santa" went and got one for my mom and it was red.. :)

I got my DD9 the sony walkman last year at walmarts secret saturday sales it was only in silver and a 2gig but she loves it and very easy for her to use. I don't even have to charge it alot considering how much she does use it..

I put money each week onto a gift card for BF and then I also set aside a little bit of cash as well. I save all my change and cash it in at coinstar in November for Amazon codes. I did like walmart layaway for "Santa" gifts since those are usually larger items and I would pay it all but about $10 when I put it in layaway and I would pay that when I picked it up. Otherwise I have a hall closet with a lock on it and everyone is told you open that door and anything that is yours will go back to the store with that money to be spent on me!! :)

That sounds like my DH last year. He stood my the HSM dolls(his choice) while I was at the clothes and about 20 minutes or so he text me and my friend saying he was surounded my a bunch of women and he thought they looked hungry and was afraid he was going to be an early morning snack begging for help but I was too busy laughing to even think about helping!!!

Last year my DH got beat up by the women who were rushing the doors when they opened and then their was a fist fight that broke out in the girls department all because 1 woman thought another woman was cutting in line when all she was doing was trying to get to a clothes rack they were both escorted out by the police.. all of this happened in Target!!

If you have no luck there Amazon does have it. A 3rd party seller has it cheaper than Amazon if you have prime if not Amazon has it for $134 with free standard shipping and their is another seller that has it for $88.49 new with $14.99 shipping.. This was all my DD asked Santa for last year. HTH

They are $8 at walmart and $9.99 at TRU....
