DD9 had the loving family dollhouse as well and loved it to death.. We had to pack it up anytime we asked grandma to babysit for us. she played with it for hours and when she moved up to the HSM doll house I gave it to my niece who isnt even old enough for it yet but soon enough she will be..

My DH keeps several lists updated for me of games(1 for each system that he has), a list for books, movies, cd's and anything else he can think of to make a list for.. I watch for sales and if i see a good deal I cant pass and its on the list I will buy it. He will mark something if its something he really wants so i know its what he calls a must have!!

I shopped a little on BF but my first real BF was about 6 yrs ago with my SIL the following year I camped out for my mom at bestbuy with SIL for my mom a computer and every since I have been out on BF with the best of them and I even got DH to join me and this yr my mom is even going..

Santa doesnt wrap gifts because he leaves them assembled in front of the tree but he does leave a BIG red bow on top of it for them... All boxes from the Santa gift are broke down and disposed of so the kids never know it actually came in a box..

Santa brings 1 gift per person.. Usually its the bigger stuff like bikes, doll houses, this year Santa is bringing ZhuZhu stuff for DD9.

I dont allow kids to go with me or the group that goes with me... Now this year my stepdad is our personal driver and DD9 wants to stay with Papa so she is going but they are staying in the truck...

I think DD9 still believes DS13 wont say because he knows "Santa" will hear and quit coming for him and will also quit coming for him if he tells (he likes to tease the little ones) the younger kids Santa isnt real.. Now thanks to DD9 when she was about 3 Santa had to start coming for the grandparents and DH because she cried one morning because Santa didn't leave them presents and she said they were good.. I did tell the kids this year I wasnt going to fill the stockings I was leaving that up to Santa which has DS13 worried about getting coal!!

Southern Peach Yam Bake 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 3 TBSP flour 1/2 TSP nutmeg 1/2 TSP cinnamon 2 TBSP margarine 1/2 cups nuts (optional) 2 17oz cans yams - drained- chopped 1 16oz can sliced peaches-drained- chopped 1 1/2 cups marshmellows combine sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs, add nuts(optional),, Arrange yams and peaches in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, sprinkle with sugar mixture.. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes, sprinkle with marshmellows and bake until lightly browned..

Sugar Cookies 1 1/4 cup sugar 2/3 cup shortening 2 eggs 1 TBSP milk 1 TSP vanilla ( i always use lemon extract instead) 3 cups flour 2 TSP baking powder 1 TSP salt oven 375 cream sugar, shortening, eggs, milk and vanilla together. Combine flour, baking powder and salt, blend into cream mixture. roll 1 1/8 inch thick on floured board, cut with cookie cutters. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, bake for 8-10 minutes.. Either sprinkle with sugar or frost..

I will put mine up the weekend before Thanksgiving and I will take it down the week after Christmas depending on how many kids are here that week..
