My cat did this as well with my wii but he hasn't tried to eat my daughters YET!! I love my cordless sensor bar and mine is the nyko on the back has a timer you can set for 1 or 2 hours which I use just so if we forget to turn it off it will beep at us when the time is up... If you leave it on then it will eat batteries but I have seen worse things when it comes to batteries.

DD got her starter kit when tru had a special ran if you got the ds you would get a game and the starter kit. Well she insisted on purple but it was for the original ds and she got the ds lite but I didnt care as long as she was happy.. So try your tru store to see if they have some..

I have gotten bad discs in the past from them but always been able to go to my local gamestop to exchange it if they have it I just had to have my receipt..

At walmart they have a kodak charger with 4 AA batteries. I think I paid $19.99 but it wasnt more than that and I also saw last night a polaroid brand with AA and AAA batteries/charger for $19.99 and it came with a bonus car charger.. :)

I have bought a few of them they are $12 online now but still a good deal... the upc# is printed on the tag in mine check yours and if it matches the receipt take it back or call them and tell them you removed the tags to wrap as a gift and you noticed it wont stay zipped see what they will do for you.
