we had a tree one year. The cat not only climbed it, loved it and the ornaments, but they became her favorite toy and she hid them all over the house. best of luck.

went & got the phone and remote yesterday. Already submitted the easy rebate. I LOVE the easy rebate - no cutting UPC codes off, now this stuff can (and will) be used as gifts! whoo hoo.

FAR at staples starting sunday

yup. Generic gifts - blankets, decorations, etc are great for neighbors, coworkers, etc. We pick up a lot of FAR from staples throughout the year and give cordless phones, remote controls (great stocking stuffers!), and even paper shredders to those who are setting up homes, or would have a need.

these are all good ideas. I will ask my SIL who helps her out most of the time what she would need/want. Make sure, if we go the socks route we have a size, if we go food - we know restrictions, etc. Keep them coming, though, this is a dilemma we face every year :)
