**Blockbuster Online free month 10/5/06 Netflix, too!
conj replied to conj's topic in Online Hot Deals
I just canceled my one-month free blockbuster account - if you are thinking about getting an account, get a trial first, and cancel it! During the cancelation process they offered me a better deal to stay on! 15.99 a month (instead of 17.99) for 6 months! -
tab?

Ok, the woman lives alone in a retirement village. She can't go anywhere unless someone drives her... so GC usually mean one of my inlaws - who live closer- will have to take her somewhere, and i get an earful. We've done GC, Craft supplies (but her eyes and hands aren't so good) we even tried a seasons lottery ticket (to which she muttered: waste of &%%# money...) We've done corny jewlery boxes, pictures of the kids... all of it with luke warm response... Any ideas as to what she might actually enjoy??? Oh - we live 3+ hours away... visiting is not much of an option...

how did she lose the weight? At the gym? Maybe a membership, or an excersize bike for home? Reciprocal saw? Those are awesome! -

should I stop giving them away here? -
The one I got is. I would check to see if your local McD has them, too. They are franchises, but often have the same kinds of promotions.

found a 12 pack of halloween coupons at my McD's tonight. 3 each of: -free pie or kid size drink, -free small fries, -free cookie - chips - or kid size drink, -free small cone (or drink - I am noticing a pattern). cost:1$. yup, 1$ for the 12 coupons. coupons are valid 11/1-12/31 in 3 states. (Great Dane Mom, some are near you) reedemable by kids 12 and under only.

Sure, all well and good, but I'd rather deal with the cold than the hurricanes... :)

day shift? What time does it start? You may be able to hit 1 store before work...

yup. we've got them in our house. they were gifts, both barbie and bratz, and I think they came from walmart or target.

Ok, this is a bit off topic (just barely) but we celebrate hannukah in our house, and I just started making up the list of the things I had gathered for the kids... Hannukah is not a major gift giving holiday - and we do just trinket gifts for the most part. For DD 8: (will turn 9 during hannukah) A CARS license plate for her bike a felt color-it poster a birthstone necklace 2 gameboy videos a sticky pad with her initial on it a 3/4 sleeve shirt with flowers, in her favorite color For DS 6: A Cars license plate for his bike a spyro school kit a batman winter jacket a sticky pad with his initial on it a book of dinosaur stickers & a strechy toy dino a fantastic 4 metal lunchbox 2 ninja turtles action figures a dragonball Z action figure we also have to talk to santa... he brings gifts to papa's house... I think DS will be getting a GBA, but I have no idea what DD will be getting.

AFAIK they normally do 2 week free trials. Here is a code for a Month long free trial Promocode:friend1 Please note that this offer expires on October 5, 2006. Blockbuster online not only sends you the movies directly, they also give you a coupon for 1 free in store rental a week (even during the free month) http://www.gottadeal.com/click.php?retailer=blockbuster Also, here is a link for a free 1 month Netflix trial http://www.netflix.com/Default?mqso=80009930

I didn't get it... so .. yes? I kept hearing about pokemon freebiees... :) TRU is an hours drive... not worth it to save a couple bucks, too much in gas. but thanks for the thought
-
I don't know if travel agents allow that... I'd suggest you save until you have enough $$ or use a credit card...
-
why use a travel agent? why not cheap tickets, or expedia?
-
whatever I got on clearance last year :)
-
I wonder if they will be giving out the gift cards this year.
