Argh. I have just about all that I need for DS, but I KEEP FINDING GREAT DEALS! We celebrate Hannukah at home... some 8 presents... and hannukah is not a big present holiday... so small gifts.... plus the kids voted to give up a night of gifts, and we are to spend that money giving another child a holiday.... so only 7 gifts plus the gift Santa brings - as the inlaws celebrate christmas.... DS has 7 small presents... don't even have the usual gloves.... I have 6 presents for DD (and Santa is thinking about a netbook if they go cheap this year) WHY do I keep finding deals for DS???? Why can't I stop ordering things? Are you in the same boat as me?

Amazon prime is a shipping incentive program... might be the wrong words... but you pay a fee (79$/yr) and you get free 2 day shipping on a lot of items. you also get cheaper 1 day shipping.

as people consider sharing Prime accounts - please keep in mind - it requires sharing some information one might normally consider sensitive and not something one should do lightly.... to that end, this is not a good arrangement for everyone...

this topic comes up every year. depends on the kids... whether # or dollar would mean more to them. Heck... we take turn opening presents, and they often get upset I do not have as many to open.

ok, so for years you've been after him for a list. this year he has a list, but it is too expensive... can you afford to get him the system? He is 15, he will understand money is tight and may be willing to wait for the game.... or get the game, with the promise to put $$ aside each week until you can afford the console? If he has a job, he could contribute to move things faster... does he know money is tight?
