First Black Friday I didn't leave the house. All done online.

Unless you're in the market for solar generators, very little else interesting.

Well, Homers got my business this year. Their deal on the batteries spanked Lowes. Also, they had a nice Genie 3/4 horse belt drive garage door opener for about 5 bucks more than Lowes 1/2 horse chain drive. Saved enough to finally buy the extension track so that it can open all the way, and added in a the keypad for outside the door. And paid to have them install it (my back couldn't handle it). Add in a $50 Visa gift card I had, and military discount, and walked out for $174.

Only wanted 3 things and got them all...the Sun Joe pressure washer, a set of the $15 sheets, and a set of the Rubbermaid. Will be there not too early on Friday and may check out the pillows, but I hate buying pillows without knowing how they feel.

No Rayovac batteries this year

I changed my strategy this year and it seemed to work out pretty good. When the ad was initially put up online, I added the items I wanted (using the links in the ad) to a list labeled Black Friday. I kept refreshing the page as the ad came online, and the prices updated. As they did, I put them in my cart and checked out. I got everything I wanted except for the griddle. i think this works better then pre-loading your cart, as sometimes the BF items have a special SKU, even if they're the exact same item that's normally stocked.

IDK...it seems that nobody really has any good pricing on kitty litter this year. I used to buy 15-16 buckets (have 3 cats) and that would get us through the year. Not sure that any of it is is worth the bother this year.

Same experience here. The manager was very accommodating though. Even though he couldn't access my online order, he filled my 16 buckets of Tidy Cat from store stock, and then when I got home, called and cancelled the online order.

Looks like one of their normal ads but just with more in it.

All my items have shipped....

Well, I experienced the same nightmares most others did last night, including that infamous "call us" message. However, I'd gotten the order number, and it did process, and my 2 4K movies have already shipped. Still better than fighting the crowds!

Tried to get that Samsung tablet for DW this morning about 5:00, and already sold out. Costco had about the same deal so ordered it from there instead.

Looks like the wife will be getting that TabA for Christmas!

The website sucked. Took forever to search and get things into my cart, and then when I tried to check out, I got a 501 error. When I went back and tried to again, it had dumped my cart and had to start all over. Tried a total of 3 times, and after wasting over a half hour, said screw it and went to bed. Got up at 3AM to go get in line for a phone, and tried again before I left the house, and managed to get everything I wanted except for 2 of the gift cards.

We stopped by our Sams today. They had about 14 of the 8+. Don't remember how many 8s.

It says ALL. When I went last year it said the same thing. It didn't ring up that way, but I walked out with 16 buckets of the lightweight for that price.

Last year I got the lightweight litter at Petsmart for that $8.95 price.

I do both...try and get most of my must haves online, then hit the stores to see what else I can get there. Petsmart is always a must go to...with good deals on litter and 3 cats, I get a year's supply.

So are their doorbusters generally online too, or in store only? For the first time in several years I see a Kohl's doorbuster I'd like to get.

Heck...I've got 3 cats, and we go through a bucket of litter about every 3 weeks or so.

Wish I had one close by. That's some decent pricing on the .22LR and 9mm ammo.

That "deal" on .22lr isn't that great. Still over 9 cents a round. I can get CCI stingers for less.
