Our 24 hour Walmart allows you to put certain items in your cart but no check-out till 5am. I usually get there by 1am and gather the toy items/clothing, etc. Only things they make you wait for is the electronics, games, etc. I go early just to gather all my price-match items.

My 12 yr old has known about SAnta since kindergarten (shame but the kids told him and he was dead set on no santa so we had to confirm). My 7 year old still believes. This year though she came home (last week) and a boy at school was telling everyone about no Santa. She didn't believe him though. lol

My family and I went to the Christmas Story house and gift shop last year. It was so much fun. My husband and I took a pick inside the shed from the dream sequece he had. It was hilarious. We bought a bar of the soap and had my son put it in his mouth while in the bathroom. LOL. Then my daughter climbed inside the kitchen cabinet that the little brother hid in when he thought his brother would get into trouble by his dad. Too funny. Of course my husband HAD to have me take a picture of him touching the leg lamp in front of the picture window. We live only an hour away so we may go up again this year. My neighbors want to go now.

Help!! Need To Find Really Good Price On Ds Lite
elena_398 replied to rubyrain's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
$119 as the above poster said is the cheapest for new that I've seen so far this year -
I only have 2 Gift Cards saved. Both are $20 GCs to Walmart. So $40 so far. My husband gets a $100 Gift Card to Walmart at the end of the year, but it misses christmas shopping. I need a little bit more points from My Points to score another Gift Card though

I just wanted them out of the house. Both my kids are too old for them and since my sister didn't want them, I sold them for an offer price that was given to me.

Im lucky too. The furthest store away from me is Best Buy and still thats only 10 minutes away. Walmart is right around the corner pretty much. Kmart too but in the opposite direction. Target just went in right by Kmart

I've been going since my son was 1. So 12 years now. Loving every minute of it too!

Not sure if others do this, but as a stay at home mom, I actually save money throughout the year just to buy items on BF. I don't like to charge anything so I usually start in January. I save change from purchases, my holiday/birthday money (yes, my grandparents still send money! lol) etc. Today I checked my stash and I have $570 saved so far. My husband wants a 32" flat screened TV for the bedroom so I really have to buckle down and started saving some more. Anyone else save throughout the year? If so, how are you doing on amounts? Scary BF is so close. I just feel I don't have enough saved! I of course will have regular money from our checking for the kids and other family members, but the money I save is for an extra item or two for the family. I was hoping to score a new video camera, but we'll see.

Whats a good TV for a bedroom? I have no idea what I need to look for (brand, etc). My husband wants a flat screen for the bedroom wall (LCD I think). Whats the price range of these and do you think they will be available on BF? Im thinking 32"

I WISH I read this 2 weeks ago. I just sold my ENTIRE set of Land Before Time movie set. Sold them for $20.

I don't have a set price. I do make a list to make sure I don't forget anything, but I always end up purchasing some items last minute. I try to have a few hundred at least saved before heading out on BF. I dont like to charge anything so I pay cash or use my debit. I buy throughout the year so BF is extras. Never really buy tons on BF. Around $100-$150. I think overall I spend roughly $600 for my kids. Maybe more. (2 kids)
