I got out every year, but not one of my friends will go out. So you are definately not the only one. I ask every year and they look at me like Im nuts. LOL

If another family member needs something, I'll get it for them. I go by myself so its quicker that way. In and out for my stuff and someone else. I won't though get an entire list (I tell them my stuff comes first then I'll go grab theirs.) Only fair, right ??!!

My son has both the PSP and the gameboy advance SP. Once he got the PSP he hasn't touched the SP. LOL> It all depends if the 7 1/2 yr old is reponsible. PSP is much more expensive and has a LCD screen which is very touchy. Graphics wise I would say PSP. Cost wise SP. ITs all up to you though. PSP though doesn't have tons of kid games. My son is almost 13 so he likes that.

I go by myself. Absolutely no one wants to head out and stay in line all night. I don't mind. It gets me in and out and to the next store more quickly. LOL

I go out by 1am (if Walmart is my first stop) then home by 8am or so. I go by myself so Im in and out of stores quickly.

Thankfully I don't need electronics. So I avoid Best Buy and Circuit City like the plague. Just too crazy for me I usually hit Walmart first as they match items then usually Target and Walgreens. Last year Walmart matched most of everything I needed and Walgreens allowed us to check out before 6:30am (supposed to start at 7am) so I was home by 7am. Nice quick BF for me and I got 100% of everything as well as some impulse buys

Absolutely no wrapping yet. lol, BUT I am over half way done with shopping for my two kids. Since our remodel, I now have a clean closests. So a lot of my items are in my top shelf of my closet and also in the garage in 4 Rubbermaid containers. (Yes 4).

I went into Target yesterday and still same percentage off. Honestly I don't really want anything that I saw on red tag. My daughter is getting to the stage where these toys on clearance are too young for her. I do need some GIGI pets, but the ones left on clearance is the scorpion one. Wish I would have found others. Guess I'll have to pay full price elsewhere. Good luck though when it does come down

Went back to Walgreens and bought 3 of the 5 packs of mechanical pencils. At 10cents you can't go wrong

Went to Target last night. Found several pairs of shoes (sandals) for my daughter- Only 3.74 a pair. Had tons of her size. Bought 6 shirts at 1.48 each. Beautiful solid colors that will match tons. 2 pairs of gauchos (black and brown) for 6.48 each (didn't want to wait for further discounting as she really wanted these) 1 black belt 1.48 2 sets of 3 different colored socks for .74 (black/white/red and navy/white/light blue) Chips a hoy cookies clearanced to 1.95. Had coupon so got it for .95 each. bought all 4 packages they had. Got other items but can't think of everything right now. Good night.

Guess I'll have to check out Target next week for the toy clearance. Its bad timing for me as my husband is working 6 days next week so I'll have the kids. Last year I bought a lot for christmas at the 75% off clearance. Will have to tell my 12 year old to take my daughter somewhere else while I shop! lol

I stocked up on Walgreens 10 packs of mechanical pencils. .39 a pack. I got 3 packs then turned around and got another 3 packs (cashier just told me to do it in 2 transactions). My son is in 7th grade this year and they allow mechanical pencils (which he prefers). REfill lead packs are $1.86 at Walmart so its cheaper to stock up on the pencils themselves. I have 60 stored away right now. LOL

I stocked up on school supplies. I got some items at Target, but cleaned up at Walmart. Always need to send more items by January so bought several of each item (.20 crayons, .10 notebooks and folders, .88 markers, etc).

The $1.99 paper was on the front page of their ad.

I forgot to post but yes, my Walmart here in Ohio had their whole back to school display up with the above pricing. I don't have my son's school supply list (middle school mails them out soon though), but I do have my daughters. 2 pack glue (elmers) .20 70 count notebooks and prong folders .10 each Elmers glue (washable) .20 Crayola thick markers .88 school boxes .50 each 10-12 packs american classic pencils .50 each 10 pack mechanical pencils $1.25 each packs of paper (college or wide ruled ) .50 each My daughter is done now. Bought tons of notebooks and folders as I know my son last year needed 6 of each. My kids also like to have notebooks to write/color in. Super deal to stock up

I was at my walmart and they had one heck of a girls shoe clearance. Got my daughter beautiful sandals for $4 each for school. Mary Kate & Ashley white ones and brown/beige ones. Perfect to start the school year. Tennis shoes were an additional 25%-50% off origonal price. Got her gym shoes for under $5. Nice sparkly white ones (added bonus for my daughter. She loves sparkles!)

My walmart takes the printed coupons. Never had a problem. The cashier just scans and puts it in the register.

Happy Summer 75% off here. I got all the matching napkins, dinner plates, and luncheon plates for my daughters birthday party next year. Cute striped set. Only .49 each. Can't beat that. Also found Starlight mints in bags for .67. Tic Tacs (4 packs) for $1, Insulated cups for .99. Perfect for my daughter and I when we watch my son's football games.

I've been good lately. NO Target in over a week. Just don't need anything. Ive read what people have found or to look for (clearance wise) and I still don't need anything. Best I've done in a year or so. LOL> Since my Target stopped allowing me to use expired coupons, that really helped me not to run there.

Home Depot is the same way. I was in charge of the service desk and it literally killed me to destroy brand new special order cabinets, tools of all kinds, etc. You wouldn't believe what I had to destroy. Policy was no one was to keep or sell any of the merchandise.

Went to my Target yesterday. Heres what I bought on clearance: Girls skorts- $4 (could have waited for more of a discount, but thats 50% off and good enough for me for next school year- Got aqua blue, hot pink, khaki, and black) Girls swimsuit cover dress - $3.24 75% off Girls purses $2.24 75% off (bought a white one for my daughters birthday and a brown and black one for gifts for christmas). Trident gum .24 down from $1.09 (bought the entire box that was left- around 8 of them) Sugar free too so thats great for the kids Solo cups and plates- $2.12 each and I used the coupon from Sundays paper- buy 2 Solo products and get $1 off. Fruit roll ups were on clearance for $1.68 and used coupons from Boodle.com for $1 off each. Bought the last 2 they had (only fruit punch was on clearance) Macoroni and Beef and spaghetti and meatballs canned dinners- clearanced to .48 each. Bought all they had (5 cans). Great for quick dinners or lunches when Im busy. lol SpongeBob Pjs for girls- $3.24 75% off Gigi Pets electronic game for christmas for my daughter- $11. She wanted this last christmas, but I wasn't paying $27!! Now just have to buy a couple other gigi pets seperately (comes with one only) Im sure theres more, but I can't think of them. LOL. Tons of stuff I bought yesterday and 90% of it was clearanced. Cashier couldn't believe some of my finds.

well, both my Targets are now checking expiration dates. No more expired ones for me. Apparently corporate emailed my store and said to stop expired coupons. wonder if this is going to spread around other Targets? Im bummed. LOL

I was checking out the schedule for markdowns on the first page of this thread. What does the Solo cups/plates fall under? household or what? Mine is $3.61 a package right now and not sure when I should head in to Target to see if they will lower it more. (this was yesterday I went- sunday). They still have a bunch but a bit high as yet.
