Does anyone know about the brand Magnavox for an LCD tv? Don't need any bells and whistles. Just need a larger LCD for my bedroom. I saw an advertisement for Sears on TV last night. Starting tomorrow (Thursday) they will have a 42" Magnavox LCD tv for $799. Said it was a $600 savings. WIth a sears card you can get a $150 rebate off that. So roughly $650 for a 42". Just not sure of the brand. hate to have repairs the first year.

I was watching tv last night and a Sears ad came on. It was about a sale that was in store starting this Thursday. It showed a bunch of items, but one that caught my eye was a Magnavox 42" LCD tv for $799. Said save $600. With the Sears card it would be roughly $650.(with the mail in rebate of $150) Does anyone know about Magnavox's LCD tvs? This would be an even better deal for me than the 42" Sears will have on the Friends and family. Bad brand? This would be for a bedroom so don't need all the bells and whistles. We just have a large bedroom and need a bigger tv for the wall. Thanks

Thankfully nothing has ever happened to me like this. And I've been Black Friday shopping myself at Walmart since 1994. Of course Im 6' tall. Have anything to do with it? Haha

This year at least I know a theme to buy for my daughter's teacher. Her teacher is a Garfield junkie. Everything in the room is filled with him and for extra credit, she has the kids bring in the cartoon strips, etc. LOL. Now just to find some Garfield stuff. (she is also in pet rescue as I am so Im also thinking of getting her something with that). She goes to areas that have a lot of feral/wild cats and feeds them as its getting cold out. wonderful caring lady

I've been happy with them. They work for awhile. Serves their purpose....Of course if they are for high end electronics, I would go name brand, but for toys and everyday items, these are fine in my opinion -
There are several items Im wanting from this list! Walgrees is usually my 2nd or 3rd stop. I know last year they had the BF items in the aisles and you were allowed to put them in your cart, but not checkout till 7am (it being 24 hours- they put the items out by 4am). Ulitimately though, it got so over crowded by 6:30am, the manager over- rided the system and allowed us to checkout then. So by 6:50am I was off to another store.

Never a set turkey size. There is only the 4 of us, but my husband is a Turkey junkie. He wants me to get "a big one" this year for tons of leftovers. I was also asked to get the "good" bakery kaiser buns for sandwiches. LOL

I have to get more tags then I can at least start. I tend to way overbuy after BF so this year Im hoping to wrap BEFORE I head out to make sure one child didn't get too much. My youngest is a girl and she wants everything and I tend to keep buying for her as her items go on sale cheap. Im pomise Im trying to get better! Haha.

Last year my target opened at 6am. That was the first time as they usually opened at 7am. It was nice. Out of Walmart by 5:20am and in line at Target by 5:40am (right by each other). Everyone skips the Target I go to as they run for some reason to the mall one

My 24 hour Walmart already has everything out when I go there around 1am every year (sometimes midnight :)) The last few years, non-electrical stuff like toys/clothes, etc can be put in your cart and just wait till checkout till 5am. The electrical stuff is out, but guarded by a couple employees. They usually start lines for that stuff.

I don't really budget. I just save my extra change, etc till around midsummer. Thats for BF purchases. I buy though all year long (clearances, etc). I probably end up spending around $1500 every year.

It was either Smart Bargains or Coupon Surfer. They send me updates when new coupons are available.
