Olevia 37" LCD HDTV $549 BF price plus 10% off - target.com
elena_398 replied to ams_chris's topic in Online Hot Deals
out of stock now. -
Thankfully I am skipping Best Buy this year. No electronics needed .... maybe want, but not this year.
-
In the consumer reports, Polaroid isn't very good. Not even in top 10 brands. Sony of course is the best..... Out of the "off brands" Vizio scored the best then Olevia. Of course ultimately its up to you. My husband decided to skip buying a LCD this year and we'll save to buy a Sony next year (bigger size too). We'll save throughout the year then buy next BF.

Good grief. Nothing like that ever. Maybe a cart or two slammed into me, but no bodily harm.

How do you pick up your stuff if it doesn't open till 5 am (said we could pick up items at 4am at the store).

Guess I'll the games next week. I went today, but the games are still at the same price. I have my eye on 5 different games too. -
Price changed. It was a 11/15 -11/17 sale, however it was still 179.97 the other day. I just checked the site and JVC, Samsung, and panasonic camcorders that were 179.97 are raised to 199.99 (now at the price of others stores on BF)

Did anyones endcap of video games get reduced today? electronics on Monday so wasn't sure if I should be going in tomorrow to check. TONS of games on the endcap 4 days ago, but still too high for me to buy. Hopefully they went through another round of clearance pricing. -
Do you recommend the 3- year service plan when you buy this TV for $59 or dont' bother. As soon as my husband gets home, we are going to Target to hopefully pick this up then price match on BF

Im must live around a lot of die hards because I go to Kmart on Thanksgiving every year and there is AT LEAST 40-50 people in line by an hour or so of opening.
-
I would call your Sears. My sears is in the mall too and there is for sure two entrances. I was wondering that too. Haven't called as yet. Would hate to get there super early and line up at the wrong entrance! Besides that, our tv section is upstairs so its a RUN to the escalator! LOL

In my area, if you want to be in the top 5- you have to be there by 1am at least. If anything, if TRU is your first stop, get there by 12-1am then sit in the car. Once you see people coming into the parking lot, get to the doors to start a line. I always go SUPER early to any store and wait in the car till I see this. Im usually first or second doing this every year (of course not at the electrical stores like BB or CC !!!!)

Honestly, this will be the first year Im not going to Walmart for anything. I have been going BF shopping since 1994 too! WOW

My 7 year old daughter is getting a SP. Regular Gameboy is just too old of a system. Playing games is hard (lighting wise too). This is the first year though that the SP isn't on sale.... So glad I had a gift card to buy mine ($25 walmart GG).

Thats all I need it for. A bedroom tv. Thats on my husband's wish list. Im going to go into Target tomorrow and see if they will price match if I buy it then. Im going to copy the letter sent from corporate and bring it in with me. Hopefully I can avoid the camping out for it. I figure its never going to leave the bedroom and no systems are ever going to be hooked up to it, so no need for the bells and whistles. I just may pick this one up.

Is Olevia any good? I heard out of the "off" brands of LCD tvs, Olevia didn't really rate all that high. For the price, its perfect for a tv LCD which thats what I want it for! Anyone have a site with ratings for this particular model?

My son got his PSP early. He got $120 for his birthday and had other money saved up. Was begging me to bring him to the store to buy one! So I caved and he got it early. Now he wants to spend his money on games. Told him to hold off till after christmas as I bought a lot of games. (I already wrapped them so darned if I remember all of them!). I won't replace that gift though as it was his "big gift" for this year. At 13 though, he didn't care. Just wanted his PSP!

I bought the JVC Mini DV camcorder at HH Gregg for $179.97 w/ free UPS shipping. Circuit City will have the same model for $179.99 on BF. Other stores will have that model for $199.99. Reviews are good too. Not sure if its still up on HH Gregg at that price but down over $70! -
Also HH Gregg has the JVC camcorder case plus 4 Mini-DV tapes for 16.99 with free shipping also.

My old boss always gave up a gift certificate to our favorite restaurant and lottery tickets. One year I scratched off a $50 winner so that was great :)

hands down... A Christmas Story Last year we went to the Christmas Story house in Cleveland, Ohio. It was great. We bought a bar of the soap and he sat on the same spot Ralph did with it in his mouth. LOL. Love that picture. They let my daughter crawl in the cabinet in the kitchen were the little brother said "Dad will kill Ralphie". Took a pic of that! My husband and I had our picture taken in the shed out back. It was great!

Hmm, I may consider the one tv now. I was going to skip going to sears, but I may just surprise my husband yet. Thanks for the post
