Does Sears price match an online price of a tv? what do I need to bring in for them to do that?

Does everyone agree that you SHOULD buy an extended plan for any tv you buy? I've always had bad luck when buying an extended plan on items. Im going to sears tomorrow night while my husband is at work so Im surprising him with a tv Im hoping to buy. Want to be prepared!

Im leaning towards this Vizio at Sears. I went to 6 different sites including that CNET that does reviews. It all got higher reviews for a more inexpensive tv. And thats all I need. A basic LCD tv for my bedroom. 37" Vizio seems to have good reviews. Im hoping I can score a better price for it at Sears tomorrow night and the Friends and Family night

Samsung out of that choice. My parents get the consumer reports magazine and only going by LCD tvs, Sony came in first. I believe Samsung came in the top 5 though.

For the past 3 Black Fridays, walmart had the SP's on sale. Not saying that will have it this year, but thats their track record. I had a $25 GC to Walmart so I bought my daughter a pink one now just so I wouldn't have to wait in line for one on BF. Hope they are on sale again this BF for you. I believe they were $49 the last few years? Check past sales for Walmart on here and you'll get the price they averaged on BF

In-store only and they only offered me an Olevia. Reviews on that particular model are a 3 star out of 5. I passed.

My husband and I checked the tvs and the 37" is perfect size for our bedroom. Not over big or too small. Vizio ok brand?

I was on the Sears website just now...... They have a Vizio 37" for $799. With the $150 rebate it will bring it down to roughly $649.99. Several reviews on the site and it rate 4.8 stars out of 5. Is this a good deal. It seems so. Im just trying to find one so I don't have to go out to the stores for a tv on BF! Its in stock at my Sears per online check.... WIth friends and family night would I get an additional 5% off? Thanks for any insite.

My walmart is 24 hours and only closes for a few hours on christmas. Heck Im usually in Walmart by midnight

How is the Olevia brand that Kmart will have? Any reviews on this particular model? Not sure of the brand. This tv would just be for my bedroom so don't need all the bells and whistles. Just something that won't go down in the first year!

Whats the best 32"-40" brand/price of LCD TV out there in the ads right now? Sears seems like the best pricing right now though

yes, I've already made my christmas pictures appointment. I just go to Walmart every year and get the basic package. I called them yesterday on a whim to just see if they were taking appointments already and to my surprise they are already filling up Novemeber appointments. They told me it takes 2-3 weeks to get back, so I made my appointment for November 21 @ 5pm. This way it comes back the second week of December. Plenty of time for me to get my notes written and the cards mailed out. Has anyone made their appointments as yet? Always seems too far away to make appointments, but when it takes so long to get back, its worth getting them now. Holiday snail mail is the worst. I remember one year I didn't get the kids' pictures done till December and I didn't get them back till almost christmas. Won't do that again. My cards arrived right after christmas. I like getting cards early as I hang them on the inside of my front door. All people's pictures they send me are on the fridge. I buy this magnetic tape at Walmart thats great for just that purpose.

My daughter will get: Hannah Montana tooth Tunes (Best of Both Worlds) Hannah Montana Stick on nails w/ art christmas goodies (candy and mints) Perfume Jewelry (I found a cute matching set of a necklace and earrings) **thats what I have for her so far minus the candy. Will buy that more towards christmas** My son will get: I-Tunes GiftCard (won a $20 GC so free gift to him lol) Cologne Axe deodorante (snake peel his favorite) GameStop GiftCard ($20) Gold necklace/chain (really nice one I found on sale like 8 months ago!) christmas goodies (candy and mints) So far this is what I have for me too...minus candy. Too far away to buy as yet.

The only thing I like is the Carrie Underwood CD for $7.99. Not sure if I'll go for a cd. I see they have a WII that day. May be too crazy for me

There isn't really anything that caught my eye! Shoot. Hannah Montana 3 pack dolls, but not sure if it will be worth $30. I already got the Hannah Montana concert doll that sings BEST OF BOTH WORLDS and that was only $14.99 at Target. My daughter may just get that doll and no others.

Check out the candy at the checkout lanes. I've bought a lot of my son's at GameStop. Some used (new ones are too high). I've also bought at Target and Walmart.

I may surprise my husband. By getting this now, I can avoid BF lines. I just need a tv of this size for the bedroom. Nothing fancy. With the rebate its even better. Anyone deal with Sears on rebates before? New to me.

I just called my mom as she bought Aqua dots for my daughter for christmas this year. Thankfully she just bought it a few days ago and has her receipt. heck, I bet this would be deadly for pets too! I have 3 dogs (two are 12lbs and under), I bet injested it could be harmful also
