This will be my first year heading to a store first where its not a toy store! I will go to office max to get my husband the $7.99 50 pack of DVD +Rs. Get as many as I can (don't know the limit yet) then go to Walgreens right next to my office max then go to Toys R Us. Only need one thing there and its not an emergency that I get it (crayola art chest). Nothing really were in the ads for my kids this year. Guess I will end up buying their lists regular priced this year. Glad I started a month and a half ago!

I will have to go to TRU because I only need a couple of items and It won't qualify for free shipping. I wish they had free shipping regardless of what it was for that day!

walmart aggravating me last night. I was online at walmart and saw they lowered their Video Now Color systmes to only $49.77. I bought it there for $62. (Less than 2 weeks ago). I called customer service for the online sales and the girls said they could price match but hold on. I waiting for a couple of minutes and she comes back and says her supervisor said they would price adjust (their own online store) because it was 2 weeks since I bought it. She told me to return my origonal one as long as I had my receipt (which I do) and re-buy another one. I bought another one and Im off today to return this other one, but this is one big hassle!!! I thought it was 30 days to price adjust.

I bought the Felcity Series the other day at Marcs. God knows why they had it there, but it was CHEAP. Only $14.99 for each year. ( Freshman year till Junior year). I loved that series!

I found a great deal the other day for this item!! Kohls.com had their Saturday 6am-noon sale online. I got this madden football game for only $34.99 w/ shipping! Excellent deal. I found a site with codes for additional 10% off 1st time online users. Then I took advantage of their 6 hr sale which gives an additional 20% off toys. Thanks for all your help and Im so glad I went surfing the net Friday night!

I am returning the video now color system I bought at walmart for $62.77 a couple of weeks ago and I ordered one for the $49 deal. (I called and they said they would price match as its been over 7 days but to return it and re-buy it off web site. Stupid, but thats what I did)

My two kids are ages 10 (son) and 6 (daughter)

Not sure if its still there. I bought it 3 weeks ago on clearance. Its a Magnavox (sp?). I bought it for both my kids as they both think they will be the next kid idol!

While Im still upset about what happened in my earlier post, I won't let that discourage me from donating as I usually do every holiday season. (I do throughout the year but mostly during christmas time). I don't know how much you guys give, but I have a rule for myself....I only donate once to each collector for every store I go too. I go shopping tons of times during now through christmas eve and I don't have the money to constantly give every time I pass a salvation army collector etc. For example..I go to walmart, I give a couple of dollars. I go to Target, I give a couple of dollars etc. BUT if I go back to the same store, I don't donate anymore. Sound bad? Sorry. I just don't have the money to constantly put in the container. When that guy heckled me last night I was so upset! I still have to give at that location though. LOL.

I cannot believe this will be the first year I will not go to KB Toys! There is nothing for my 10 yr old nor 4 yr old that she wanted. Easy Bake oven is great but I think she'll need another christmas or so for that. I already bought a karoke machine at Walmart.com (check it out, $40 for a great one w/ graphics). The only thing would be the need for speed undergroung GBA game, but its not worth lining up for. Darn

I also feel that the Salvation Army is getting pretty aggressive in trying to get money. Last night at Walmart, I literally didn't have any cash on me. (I used my debit card for purchases). The guy collecting for them actually made the off hand comment to me that if I didn't have any cash why was I shopping!!?? I was so upset and asked him if that was part of his job...to heckle customers. I should have talked to the Walmart management, but didn't. Instead of trying to make me feel guilty into donating, he actually offended me.

For the last 2 yrs, the Thanksgiving day ads for Kmart were in my Wednesday paper. Is it not the same for all of you? I've never had to wait till that morning and run to the store. This is my first year coming to this site and it does help tremendously!

I have never used lay a way before but I do agree with people who say they just use it to "store" their gifts till the last minute. I have two children and they are already trying to sneak into the presents! Luckily though I smartened up since last year and have wrapped and tagged 99% of them. I saw the lines at Walmart last year and they went way past the main aisle. Crazy!

I know I subscribe to my area paper and it never fails. Every Thanksgiving I still have to run to Walgreens( which is 24 hrs and get a paper. ) My paperboy must refuse to sandwich 30 ads in along with the paper itself. Im always missing tons of ads.

Best Buy has been the worst for my for the past 4 yrs. I always get my items, but the checkout process is ridiculous. Took 15 minutes (if that) to get my items, then 2 hrs to checkout. I think Im avoiding BB this year.

I never go there either. I head off to Lowes (well my hubby does) if we need anything!

I checked store locator and even though its in Ohio (didn't know) they aren't in my area. Closest one is 1 1/2 hrs away. Can you buy online there?

I used to work there and 9 out of 10 times they Do Not have "sales". Its every day low prices. Once in a while you will find a managers sale, but thats stuff that hasn't sold well. Especially right before christmas as inventory is the last week of december and they want to clear out.

I checked store locations for this store and even though they are in Ohio (didn't know that) none are even close to me. I would have to travel at least 1 1/2 to one. So, looks like this BF sale is off to me. Darn

I've heard great reviews. My son's friend has one and its one heck of a workout too! My son plays youth tackle football (he plays right tackle) and Im thinking he would love this game.
