elena_398 replied to elite2058's topic in Online Hot Deals
So these would be still valid for this 12/25/10 christmas? Don't think they expire, but you never know. I'm totally ignorant on these sort of things. -

Do these expire... If I bought it now for this christmas (doubt if it will be cheaper) will it still be ok? I get my son one every year. (I have the extra money now so thats why this would be great to buy ahead) -
I bought one of these before christmas for my car (always like to keep on in there). Thin, but nice. I use it to lay across my backseat. Now my daughter uses it when we drive somewhere. lol. It was 1.99 in store then

I *officially* finished Christmas shopping. Right now.

My daughter age 9 was on the phone with her friend last night and was talking about christmas. Of course I heard her talking about what she hoped was under the tree... She said he really wanted a pair of fuzzy toe socks. WHAT? Where do I find those? I guess your toes go into them like gloves? Plus fuzzy ones? HELP> lol -

I've been done since last week (my "official" time). Still doesn't stop me from looking, however, I have stopped myself. I did pretty well this year. Didn't impulse buy as much as the other years. It's just my kids are 15 and 9 1/2 and want the more expensive stuff (ipod touches, xbox 360 games, ipod Nano, itune cards, etc. ). Soo everything cost double than other years. So even though they have a lot of gifts its not as much as other years... But I spent the same. GRRR lol -
I would love one of those frames for myself! I think they are great gift ideas.

Including food for New Years Eve.. Around $100++

I'm completely done. I actually did well this year. Only a few impulse buys. I always buy a bit too much, but nothing is charged and I pay in cash and/or debit card from my checking.

We always have a nice dinner then go to evening mass. When we get home, we finish up our cookies. Take early showers and get on our Pjs (I always have a new pair for the kids) and we watch TBS (the channel) for The Christmas Story. I make a nice big bowl of popcorn and we bring down our blankets. It's nice.

What is there sizing like? My daughter is in a 14/16 top and 12 bottom. Thanks -
I was in Target today.. I don't need any of these, but saw that mine had hamsters and some sort of surf board set for it and a dome of some sort.
-
No charging here either. Used Giftcards I got from Mypoints ($50 Walmart card) plus $150 worth of Walmart cards my husband earned throughout the year (his company gives them away like candy) Plus I save $ throughout the year just for christmas gifts. Now my son is 15. I know I spent way too much. His ipod touch alone was $300. then he got 3 Xbox 360 games plus tons others. My daughter got more, but her stuff was cheaper. I spent around $1500 altogether for my two children

Yes, I've been done since BF, BUT I am still buying. Not a lot, but finding too good of deals to pass up. The TRU Littlest pet shop games last week for 9.99 did me in... Got all 4 of them. One will go in the Easter basket, One for a birthday, and the other two will be saved for next christmas. lol

My mom does this every year. She buys the reeses's, snickers, etc. Freezes them and puts them in the grandkids stockings every year. Saves money and honestly you can't tell the difference. Tastes great still. She has 7 stockings to fill so it makes sense to do this. Now I don't because I only have my two kids, but my mom still feels the need to do another stocking for my kids and my sister's kids. That's why I just buy the christmas candy as I don't buy much. They get way too much candy so I fill mine with a few candy items then other toys/etc.

All ours are wrapped. Even gifts for our dogs. Little gifts inside stockings are wrapped too.

Now we make sure we divide the teams as we all want my daughter! My husband and I and son always try to get her to pick us. LOL> Now Twilight we are both obsessed. Im just trying to find other items because that is the only thing I want... Would prefer free shipping. -

Thankfully I paid cash on all purchases on BF. -
spent another $300 today on my son. Went to Kohls 2 day sale. He wanted some College stuff and more Nike shirts/hoodies. Funny as I made my mom meet me there- she gets a 20% senior discount on Tuesdays. LOL. She is used to it now.
