  4. I have a 10 yr old daughter... She is into her DS, anything Bobby Jack (clothes, bedding, etc), Hair stuff, jewelry, shoes ( theme here... she is my girlie girl) She also wants a pillow pal
  5. Good model 32" LCD for my daughter's room (maybe larger depending on price difference) Good model Laptop for my son... Case... Wireless mouse GPS for my husband. Have no idea which one.. Any ideas on a good model? I have $200 in Giftcards to Best Buy so it would have to be there.
  6. My son will be hard this year. He will be getting a laptop / case/ wireless mouse... But I don't want to get that until BF or closer to christmas. Have $600 saved for that. He also wants a new comforter set for his room and some Xbox 360 games. After that he hasn't said a thing. My daughter will be getting a LCD tv for her room / wall mount. Those are their big gifts this year. I just ordered a few things off Amazon.com for her. She LOVES to draw and do art stuff. She is 10. I ordered her 6 How to books on drawing, got a bunch of cool art stuff on clearance at an art store. Plus already got her Bobby Jack Burst My Bubble bedding set complete with BJ pillow, bedskirt, sheets, and sham. She still wants a Club Penguin membership so I think I saw them at GameStop. She is easy. Its my soon to be 16 yr old thats hard. UGH
  7. Definately gas cards, money, gift cards... That is usually want they want/need.
  8. I just ordered a DS game for my daughter on Amazon. Also got her the Bobby Jack twin bedding set. Delivered the other day. So I have about 6 items bought for my daughter already and 4 for my son. He is soon to be 16 and wants all the expensive electronics and 360 items... so I wait more towards Black Friday for him
  9. I've given up a budget. Haha. Never have I stuck to it. I impulse buy. I know... bad. I usually spend roughly $2000 a christmas. I already have that saved so no Credit cards this year. The biggest expense will be my kid's "big" gifts this year. My son is getting a laptop/case/wireless mouse and my daughter wants a LCD tv for her room. So we will get that plus a wall mount. My husband is getting a GPS this year... he knows about it as he won a $200 giftcard to Best Buy so thats where I will buy it. So that expense is not there. Want to thank his work again. lol
  10. 9 in the family We also adopt a family every year through our church.. Provide gifts for all parents/kids and food for christmas dinner. and of course my 3 dogs :)
  11. Since my son was little. He was born in 1994. I think I started out by 1996.
  12. More. My kids are now are DD10 and DS15 (soon to be 16). Both want electronics. My husband and I are getting our son a laptop/case/wireless mouse We are getting our daughter a 32" tv for her room LCD w/ wall mount. I figure just with these items it will be over $800. Already bought my daughter her Bobby Jack Burst my Bubble bedding set. Got delivered yesterday. LOVE IT. Comforter/sheets/pillow case/sham/BJ decorative pillow was $105
  13. As of last year, the principal sent a letter home to all parents not allowing teacher gifts said they are going another route which I LOVE. Instead every classroom adopts 2 children (boy and girl) of the same age/grade that is in need. They ask we donate new items from their wish list. Each classroom makes their family a card, wraps the toys/clothes, etc. It's very nice. Our principal and the teacher delivery the gifts the week before christmas.
  14. My kids each get a "Big" ticket item each year for christmas. If your kids have all of the obvious... Then iPads is the way to go. My son who will be 16 by christmas wants a laptop. Will wait closer to christmas for some better deals. My daughter wants a tv in her room. Again I will wait closer to christmas. I'm thinking a 32" for her room. After that, its games, clothes, etc.
  15. the link of participating stores won't come up for me.... Can someone copy and paste the Ohio stores that are participating? Thanks

  19. Quick question... My one Target I don't normally go to had a DS game on clearance for $14.98. I didn't think my daughter had it and apparently she does. Can I return it (its unopened) at my usual Target or do I have to go back to that one?)
  20. Got 22 Axe bodywash double packs today... clearanced to $3.74 (Tomorrow is the last day) buy 2 and get a $5 Giftcard. Used $2/1 peelies. Then just rolled the GCs to get FREE bodywash. Got 11 Scotch Fur Fighters. Clearanced to $2.48. Use $4/1 coupon (PDF file from Scotch site) to get either FREE or major overage. My Target gave me the overage!

  22. Got my notification last night that my card is ready to be picked up in store. Wow that was fast.
  23. Just ordered it. Free site to store shipping. One more gift down for this christmas. lol
  24. Just went to Walmart and someone asked this question. They answered and said NO it doesn't expire. It comes with a code specific for that card. The 12 months starts when you input the code. So I am buying it now and putting it away for this christmas. My son gets one very year for his 360 so this is great.
