My son doesn't look good in turtlenecks. I usually try to find a sweater in a navy or beige color. He looks best in those. Red maybe too. Im thinking Khols or Target this year.

I know in my area my Walmart is 5am.

I was at Family Dollar and they had the new Bratz Dolls out. They were on sale for $8 which is a super price, but even better was when I went to the register, they scanned $7. These were the set in their leather outfits. Bought all of the girls

Some were at my Target. None I wanted though. Great deal

Yes, in reading how far people have to travel Im guess I am. Kohls and Office Max are even closer to me. My only thing is this 5am opening of all the stores. LOL. Target is the only one to open later which helps a bit. Thats why Im really hoping their ad is great this year so I have time to shop there

My mom would tempt my sister and I and keep them in bags in her room. Its was like she dared us to peek in there. We did only to find out she always wrapped early! :)

I love though seeing Americas Funniest Pets and how cats go up the trees and peek out. I get a kick out of that.

Im thinking they made the monster to cater to little boys. I know my husband would have a phobia of me buying my son a pastel colored bear. Just my opinion though :)

Has anyone started shopping for your kids' christmas outfits as yet? Im heading out tomorrow. I made by portrait appointment for 11/18 of this month. My son has khakis so I'll just have to find a nice sweater and dress shoes. I usually buy my daughter's christmas dress at gymboree, but when I went online, I wasn't impressed with the christmas lines this year. Where do you go for your christmas dresses? My daughter is in a size 6 girls. She doesn't look good in black or real dark colors as shes a fair blonde. I noticed all the stores are stocked with the clothes so I guess I'll start at Kohls and work my way around the mall area. Anyone else start thinking about christmas outfits for their kids?

TRU, BB, CC, Walmart, Target, and KB Toys are all within a couple of the blocks. Besides KB which is inside the mall, all the stores surround it. Luckily the mall is only 10 minutes or so away

I emailed the seller. I appreciate the game was in excellent condition but its the principle of the thing. I hate inflated shipping prices. She has 100% feedback too. Im surprised someone else wasn't upset by her dealings

Thats true. All those stores are all around each other within 2 blocks of each other. I guess they saw how crowded they were and decided they were losing out on that hour of business!

I think this year, I'll spend $5-600 on my son as hes older and wants more expensive items. My daughter I'll spend around $3-400. About $1200 or so for everyone though

I've had someone try to take items out of my cart, but never my hands. Im almost 6'. To do that is just stupid to me. LOL

Petsmart has a cute sale on personalized collars and leashes. I ordered one for my lab. Cannot wait to give it to her :)

I got pissy today. I bought a video game (GBA) from a seller. Yes, she shipped it quickly, but I paid $3.85 priority for it. It arrived today in a small jewelry sized box. .60 shipping / first class

Never gone to an exchange, but my neighbors carol every year and go to the houses they are close too. Every year they bring us a platter with cookies and other goodies. Its nice

I've already wrapped all the gifts I bought so far. They are in the garage in thick black contrator bags. One bag for my daughter and one for my son. Keeps everything organized.

I already bought my husbands gift and the dogs. Still have to finish up the kids though. I usually do that on BF

I found when I was 5 from my sister. Christmas eve no less. That was horrible. Thankfully my daughter still believes. She is 5 1/2
