    YEA!!!!!

I still cannot believe its that time again. Im so behind this year. Usually by now I already have stuff bought, but with my upcoming back surgery and all the medical bills flowing in, Im stuck this year. I pray Im healed from surgery by BF for my kids sake. Otherwise this christmas will be so small.
  3. I map out the night before where Im going. It can change year from year depending what I need and who has the best deals. Walmart was it for me and Target.
  4. I always go by myself. No one wants to stand in line at midnight with me. LOL. But Im a talker so I always talk with others. Never had a problem with boredom. We all talk about what we want, where we're going next, etc.
  5. I go to Kmart and Walgreens every year.
  6. I pretty much just listen to Fox 8. Love them in the morning. Kicking it with Kenny is so funny.
  7. I've had that happen to me, but the pics didn't come back. I was so upset. Thankfully it ended well with you
  8. I enjoy watching everyone while Im in line to pay. During shopping Im on a mission so don't concentrate too much on anyone else! But once Im done I enjoy it. Especially the ones who come late expecting the super deals to be in stock. I just roll my eyes at them
  9. There never is "sales" on treated lumber. (at home improvement stores). Wood fluctuates in price almost daily so it could be one price one day and another the next. (I used to work at Home depot). Just call around and if you get quoted a good price at home depot and lowes, get a printed quote. It keeps that price for you for several days. that way if it goes up then you have your price locked in. You have to go into the store though and get a printed quote and have the gals or guys at the service desk put it into the computer (that was my job lol)
  10. when my daughter was in diapers I bought them there all the time. Every Tuesday the Target truck comes. I bought the HUGE packs of Pampers or Huggies (different each week) for $4.99 and wipes (big boxes) were prices at $1. I haven't been down there in a long time, but when I better and can drive, I will start going down there on Tuesdays. You really have to be there when they first open up though.
  11. I wish I didn't have so many medical bills. This will be the first time EVER I will have to charge most of my items. I hate charging anything. But with the ambulance, emergency room then overnight stay, physical therapy, and upcoming back surgery, money will be so tight. I wish if this health problem had to happen it was earlier in the year so I could have recoverd finacially before BF. So basically I have my $400 saved up in my drawer to spend then thats it. Then off to charging. I already told the kids it wouldn't be a huge christmas like they were used to. My daughter age 6 just said thats ok, Santa will just buy gifts for me this year....lol... god love her
  12. Ebay has tons of college text books as does half.com and amazon.com. When my husband went back to school to further his education, I resold his text books there.
  13. We have Directv and saw the super deals they were offering to new subscribers. My husband call the customer service and they didn't offer us anything. Just pushed the offer where you get $50 off your bill if you recruit someone to sign up. Regular cable is still higher so we still stuck with Directv, but I was upset they didn't offer us anything to try and keep us as my husband said we may switch or cancel. She just said she was sorry if we went.
  14. My son owns a PS1, PS2, Nintendo 64, and X-Box. He actually only plays the PS2 right now. When he gets or asks for a new game he wants the PS2. So I would gravitate towards that. Price is a lot better than X-Box 360 too. I find the PS2 has better kid games also
  15. Some of those items I like to have at the house. Thanks for the post
  16. Any really. I just think he wants one as a few friends have one. He just said he wanted an I-pod so he could have all this downloaded music.
  17. Go to your freecycle and ask for it. I just wanted to try it so post that if anyone had ProActiv that I would love to have it. I got 3 responses and 3 FULL sets. One was brand new sealed. Worth a shot.
  18. Under $200 is best for us. Preferably the $100-$150 range. No more than $200. Thats what he wants for his big gift this year.
  19. My son wants a basic I guess as he wants to download music to it. He'll only be 12 so nothing too fancy. But, I would want one thats good quality even though he just wants to download music to it
  20. My son started his christmas list and not sure if I should buy it now OR wait closer to BF. Im not really sure what they are or what to look for. So if anyone has information and/or a good I-pod deal right now that would be great. If anything I can keep my money and wait, but will know what kind to buy later. Thanks for any help
  21. He actually is trying to thin down for football a bit. He told me to cut down his portions (shocker) and only wanted wheat bread and bottled water for drinks. Who am I to complain! I just bought a GORGEOUS pair of NIke shoes in mens size 11 from ebay. Received them today (low feedback so I was worried) but they are great. So now he has 2 "cool" shoes. LOL. Seriously though, my son is a lineman and his coach doesn't really want him to thin down, but my son wants to. He really just wants to get more strength in his legs to get off the line quicker. My son is 11 years old and 5'8 and 176lbs. Most people think hes in high school.
  22. I scored at Value City today. I bought my son his school tennis shoes ("The cool ones he wanted lol"). FUBU mens size 11 (yes size 11 mens and he is 11 yrs old) regularly $55- w/ my coupon and their 20% sale I got them for $28. Im happy. I also found Polo Jeans for him for only $16- and he also picked out an Ohio State jersey for only $12.99. Passed the same one up at a sporting goods store for $62 (gotta love discount stores lol)
  23. Mens are included in the sale? My son needs khakis for school. All shirts are done. Hes in a mens 34 waist. LOL. Yes hes 11 yrs old, but 5'8 and 172lbs. Hes a beast.
  24. Thanks for the heads up. I always stock up on deodorante
