You are in the same boat as me. My son is 11 and acts like hes 16 at least. He already owns: 10 disc stereo/changer, computer, electric guitar, electric keyboard, electric drums (full size adult ones), GBA, GBA SP, PS1, PS2, and nintendo 64. He already has a new decorated room too. LOL. So far I have gotten him the Everlast freestanding boxing bag w/ gloves, Dungeons and Dragons board game, Axis and allies game, 8 ps2/x-box games, cds, Dragons of Deltora book set, and a gold neclace he wanted (yes, must be the middle school thing now). My mom got him a iPod Nano 2GB w/ case and docking station.

Well, my mom went to Circuit City today and she bought one there. Case and all. Her money, but I did tell her about the refurbished ones. It was advertised for $149, but came up at the register for $119. LOL. My mom paid her cash and got out of there just in case. She got one heck of a deal. (iPod Nano 2GB black)

I went to Village Discount Outlet today (had a coupon for $5 off a $10 or more purchase). I found my daughter a BEAUTFUL little devil costume complete with dress, cape, headband w/ attached red horns, and wig for $4. I also got her 3 Abercrombie hoodies for $1.50 each.

What does refurbished mean exactly? does it mean it was broken at one point or its not new? Thanks for any insight. lol. Sorry if this is a dumb question

Well my son now says he wants an iPod Nano black 2 GB. What is the best price around. Do I need to buy a docking station and/or a case? He definately wants black though

I don't own any christmas music here at the house. I start hearing it when the stores start playing it. lol

I don't bake that much. Only a few batches of cookies to decorate with the family.

Walmart and Best Buy seem to have the best. Target is close though. They have gotten better sales in on BF in the past couple of years

I bought our kerosene heater at the Tractors Supply. Would love to pick up another one. They are great to help with heating the house

Im bummed as I used to go to KB Toys every BF. Last year after BF, they closed our mall location. So no KB Toys around me anymore

I shop at JC Penny's every year for my son. Love their clearances too. Polo, SouthPole, Dockers, etc. Needless to say they got me for over $500 this year on the kids. LOL

The only time I travel during the holidays is to relatives around me. So only drive. They are already wrapped and tagged and ready to pass out. No flying time for me during the holidays

Personally, I dread wrapping. My back hurts etc while trying to get it done. Thats why in the last couple of christmases, I try to wrap as soon as I buy. I used to wait and wrap everything at once. UGH

I have over 3000 points in my MyPoints account so I'll turn them in for Walmart GCs soon. Also, my husband will get his christmas $25 GC around Thanksgiving. He gets a Christmas bonus but they don't give that out till January. Go figure. Im also hoping to score a GC here on Gottadeal if Brad/Ross puts them up again. With my upcoming back surgery I need all the help I can get in paying for christmas. I'll be in the hospital for 4 days and with the surgery, etc Im looking at TONS of medical bills.

I may have a partner this year though I usually go alone. My neighbor wants to check out the BF experience but I warned her I move fast. LOL. We may drive seperately as she just wants to go to Walmart.

No potty breaks for me. I go before I head out and pray I won't have the urge to go until later on in the day. LOL. So far so good and I've been going on several years on BF

I usually know I'll be at Walmart. Even with their regular prices, their toys are the best prices. My son wants electronics this year so who knows who will have the best prices. I've be able to dodge BB in the last few years so Im hoping someone else will have the stuff he wants. Its just so CRAZY there

I got an ad in todays paper (sunday). It was also available the other day on line.

Even though I say Im done a couple of week before christmas, I also impulse buy. lol

My son's birthday is November 16th so have to get that out of the way. I usually buy him a game or two. Its so hard with his birthday a month before christmas

1st or 2nd week of December here. I make my picture appointment for around the week of November 16th. Usually takes up to 2 weeks to get back, then I need time to write my note in each card.

I don't usually do my cookies till December. I don't have a lot to bake so usually do it the week before christmas
