My mall area has it all. Walmart, Toys R Us, Kohls/Target (same parking lot), Best Buy and Circuit City. Only about 5-10 minutes from the house. And thats just because of traffic lights.

Im VERY disappointed. Electronics are fine, but if you shop BF for your kids, the ads out don't help. Where is the good deals on toys? And not just preschool ones?

I worked at Home Depot and we were allowed to grab anything we wanted as long as we paid for it before leaving that day.

Im just shocked how bad the childrens stuff is so far 9 (Toys). Very disappointed.

Right now in the stores they have their holiday toy cataogue. (also on their web site). Shows the toys they will be having on sale every Sunday. Some nice items actually

Heck, I don't need a wake up call as for the past several years, I never go to bed. My husband just knows that I pass out for several hours once my BF shopping is over. LOL

I can say I've never stood in line at BB, but unfortunately this happens often w/ friends and family of people. I had this happen one year at KB Toys. I let them have it. Fortunately, they got me a ticket just in case as 5 members of the family came in front of me when I thought I was 2nd in line.

I told my husband and a possible laptop at this price and he told me in no uncertain terms that we will own one. LOL. Oh great- its not as if he waits in line

Too soon for the radio stations around here as I havent heard them. Of course I listen to FM pop stations. Not sure about AM around here. I know the stores have started. I was in Walmart and they are playing it

My grandparents send $400 every year to us. $100 to each family member (my 2 kids and my husband and I) My parents give my husband and I a $300 GC to our local grocery store and 2- $100 GC to the gas station we use. No never have. I've sold the actual item, but no markup. My parents bought an item that I did also. Didn't realize they were at another store buying the same thing. They called me on my cell so I went to the back of the KB Toys line a couple of years ago and heard a lady talking on the phone about the item being sold out already. She seemed upset so I offered it to her.

My son wants the Fergie The Duchess CD. Im getting him that as he also will get an iPod, then he can download it then give it to his sister which also wants it.

Honestly, nothing is worse when someone is infront of you and you think you are a certain number in line. THEN, you see a group of maybe 2-4 people coming and getting in line. Personally, I get annoyed at line savers. Not fair to those who have been in line for hours on end to get the deal. Now if I were you, I would let the people behind you know that you are saving a place in line for someone. If its only one person, thats not too bad, but more than one just isn't fair to the others in line, Especially if they are getting a hot item.

Best Buy is the worst in my area. People camp out from the afternoon before. Nuts. But, the camping out length depends on the deal and how bad you want it. To ensure you get it, you'll have to camp out awhile.

Thats a super price. My son got an iPod, but not that big (30g).

My Walmart's policy is that you must have the ad and it must be the exact item. You also must have the same quantity as the item. (for example: limit 2 at another store - is your limit at Walmart)

Has anyone started making their appointments for their kids' christmas pics yet? I called Walmart today and got in on November 20th. That will be around the 2nd week of December for them to be in. I couldn't believe how many appointments there already were. The week before my appointment is already booked! Told my friends as they go to Walmart also. Hate for them not to get in.

My husband doesn't care what I spend. As long as bills are paid and the house is running smoothly, he lets me go. hes just lucky Im thrifty by nature. lol
