  1. My walmart has toys everywhere too. I think they just ran out of room to store it all. Even if its not blitz items, thanks for taking the time to alert us.
  2. Super job! Keep snooping for us!
  3. I go in to Walmart around midnight every year. Pallets come out then. At my Walmart, you can put anything you want into your cart, but just can't checkout until the blitz starts. The only things you have to wait in line for are the electronics (last year it was the laptop, dvd player, and gameboy advances). All toys, etc were out and ready to throw into your cart
  4. I always reused the tins. Great trashcans or storage for christmas stuff. I don't give them as gifts, but let my kids pick one out each. We actually enjoy the popcorn (caramel corn and cheese popcorn anyway)
  5. My favorite ornament are the ones my children made throughout the years. I also have ornaments I made as a child and my husband's. Its nice to see
  6. My husband makes us take down EVERYTHING the weekend after christmas. lol. Total scrooge every year. He hates all the decorations. Its been like that for the past 5 years and can't change him
  7. I'll be making my pies the night before. Turkey will be in the fridge awaiting the oven. From there, its the day of
  8. My family always gets their holiday "big breakfast". Eggs (their choice), bacon, sausage, and toast. Juice too. They look forward to it. last year I threw in homemade biscuits and sausage gravy for my husband.
  9. Im hoping when I get the physical Kmart ad that they will have the GameBoy Advance games on Thanksgiving like they always do (bought the kid games for the past several years)
  10. nothing that I've heard thats around me.
  11. Yes, both stores do. I used to work at a Home Depot and its crazy there too
  12. Im disappointed as I won't be going out to Kmart this year on Thanksgiving. Nothing at all I want or need. So far the store's ads that have come out, again, I don't want or need anything.
  13. That is true. I went into a Walgreens before heading out to Walmart a couple of years ago. I needed some cough drops before heading out in line (dreaded cold lol) and saw a couple of people buying some BF items. Most were ringing up at the price and they were allowing it. I lucked out that year. Last year, not the case
  14. I started late this year. Usually start around August or so. I didn't buy my first christmas gift for the kids until October. BUT, with all the online sales/deals and ads in the past month or so, I've bought enough to say I should be done....But I'll still watch the ads and BF deals.
  15. Haven't seen the movie. I'll think I'll rent it first before buying. I know the kids are looking forward to seeing this movie
  16. Never went to CC during BF. Actually I try to avoid the electronic stores. If they have cds at a good price, I usually just price match at Walmart. Luckily don't need a tv this year. Just bought one earlier this summer
  17. I don't have a CompUSA around me, but shop there online for my DVD+Rs every year. Hopefully I can secure my pack before heading out to the stores.
  18. Heck if the price is right, I'll buy it now. One less thing I have to fight for on BF.
  19. I probably don't need to go out on BF, but I will. Even if its for one item. lol. Its the spirit of the hunt for deals that gets me. I always can use something for the house.
  20. I don't bring them in line with me. We use the kerosene heater to add warmth in the house. It does save on the gas bill as we haven't had to put our heat on as yet. Already in November. We bought the huge one that heats up to 1500 square feet. Well worth the price initially
  21. My kids are impatient, they would be like "what the heck". Famous saying with them
  22. My husband swears he would be in a fight every year when I come home and tell them what I encountered or saw. LOL. Maybe its just as well he stays home. He doesn't have the patience to deal with the pushing and shoving.
  23. Did you try GameStop and/or EB Games? When my son's controller broke I bought one there.
  24. I was in there the other day and thankfully I brought a couple extra. I saw an older couple with 2 cart fulls of toys (come to find out for their grandchilden.) I gave them a coupone. They were so thankful. Now if I go there, I'll make sure I have extras to give out if I see someone with a lot of toys.
  25. My mom subscribes to two sunday papers and one didn't have it but the other did. She brought me the book yesterday. Thanks for the link though.
