For a sturdy set, I always prefer Little Tykes and Step Two. You could always try freecycle to see if anyone has a set for free. Alot of times sets like that are sitting in someones basement.
Don't do it usually but like I said before, I did it on clearance items. My Walmart sells clearance stuff so quickly and they also go down in price so quickly. So glad I hid my sticker refills as I heard they are hard to find.
Im thinking of at least getting the tree out by Friday and sorting through the ornaments. Still have to buy candy canes. New puppy in the house (shes 10 months old) so no icicles this year. Major choking hazard for dogs.
Im all for price wars. lol. Actually I've found better deals on weekly ads and clearances then the toys advertised this year on BF. Right now Im 90% done with my kids. Not bad.
The only things you couldn't take as yet and get in line for was the Portable dvd player, GBAs, and Laptops. Everything else such as TVs etc was yours for the taking. Created less hassle too.
I hope my Walmart has the Cinderella game (Im going to call later). I know Walmart.com carries it but not sure about in store. I would just hate to deal with TRU for one GBA game and one PS2 game (Urban Reign)
I'd still check with your local TRU. I of course wouldn't tell them you have the BF ad, but say if I bought XXXXX and if it goes on sale could I price adjust. Get the name of the person also you talk to
