I'm currently at about 80% complete. I need stocking stuffers for my DH, present for youngest niece, and one for my mother. Everyone else is taken care of!

Yes...my DH and I attend the Margarita Ball every year which is a toy charity event. I also adopt a military family through Soldier's Angels, pick up a few toys for the local shelter, and take a name from the Angel Tree. That really is one of my favorite parts of the Christmas season!

We fill eachothers stocking and we will do one or two gifts this year. I think the bluetooth thing that I posted about in the techie forum and Life season 2 will do it this year. We are going to Hawaii right after Christmas so we cut back on gifting to eachother. I would rather go on another tour or event while we are there.

Fluffy Pumpkin Pie (Favorite in our house!) This delicious pumpkin pie can be served immediately, but it is easier to cut if placed in the refrigerator or freezer for a few hours before serving. Ingredients 1 15oz can of Pumpkin, or about 1 c. fresh pumpkin 1 12oz container of Whipped Topping 1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice 1 tbsp Sugar Directions In a bowl, combine the Pumpkin, Pumpkin Pie Spice, and Sugar until well blended. If you plan on using fresh pumpkin, make sure that it is well drained, or else the pie will lose its consistency with all the liquid. Slowly fold in the Cool Whip in thirds, until completely incorporated. It should be more of a peach color than an orange, and light and fluffy in texture. Gently fold mixture into the pie crust.Your pie crust can either be the traditional flour pie crust, or a graham cracker pie crust. The graham cracker crust is a good flavor combination with the pumpkin, and goes well with the lighter texture and flavor of the pie filling.

Yes we are. We decided to go to Hawaii right after Christmas so DH and I will get one small gift and our stockings. Everyone else is still the same.....so far!

DH and I exchange a list in October with atleast 5 things on it that we would like. We each pick from the list and add in suprises in the stockings. I also refuse to fill my own stocking.

We do a stocking for our dog and I spend maybe $10 on hers. My DH's stocking is a different story. I usually put the gift certificates that he wants in, unique candies, fruit, nuts, and I always put in a unique beer or alcoholic drink. I love World Market and Central Market for the candies and adult beverage.

I collect snowmen and my husband collects nutcrackers.

Black Friday 2006 was the first time that my DH experienced a BF. It was great to see his enthusiasm and that look of awe in his eyes as we went from store to store. He thought BF was like the Loch Ness Monster....there were stories about it but he had never actually seen it first hand. It was great to get to experience that with him.

I buy after Christmas so I already have those. I like the cards to go out on December 1st.

I would love to participate in the Christmas exchange as well! The SSS was a blast!
