Baby/Toddler clothes as low as $0.50 @ shop.com (The Dashlynn Store)

I checked it out and there are some great buys, but the shipping killed the deal for me. Thanks anyway! -
HOT! HOT! HOT! - $0.69 Office Supplies @ staples.com
Kayakmom replied to noehlp's topic in Online Hot Deals
I'm glad I missed this one, lol. I have a big box full of office supplies from all of the 49 and 99 cent Staples sales, lol. We're really making great use of most of the stuff, to be honest. I've been using the little notebooks like crazy, the highlighters for my schoolwork, and the pens. I have a pretty good stock at this point and it sure comes in handy and saves us a lot of money versus buying the stuff on an "as needed" basis. -
Personally, I would choose Costco. If you do a search in the forums, you will find other threads on this topic that are from a month or two ago and have a lot of details and responses. I have BJ's and Costco and I like them both very much. Costco is much further from my house, but I'll be going there tomorrow. I look forward to it! I bought the membership because I wanted a digital camera and a laptop that they had. Getting to go to the store on occasion is a bonus for me! BJ's is much closer and I go there a lot to get stuff for Cub Scouts, bananas for ds4 (he's a monkey, lol), and a few other things on a regular basis. Edit: Here's the link to that other thread: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=30040

I wish there was a Build-A-Bear closer to my house. The nearest one is over an hour away. Ds9 made one for himself and ds4 when I was pg with ds4. I'd really love for the boys to make one for their new baby sister. I'll keep the coupon anyway. Maybe we'll be able to make it there. Thanks!

Harvard to pay tuition for low-income students
Kayakmom replied to ShopnMom's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I wish they had this when I was in high school. Oh well. Now I don't even want to think about what this education is costing me and I'm certainly not attending Harvard. I live about 15 minutes from Yale and the thought has crossed my mind many, many times but then I meet the ivy league students and I'm kind of glad I don't go there, lol. It's just not my speed. I'm convinced that you have to be absolutely bizarre to fit in at a place like that. -
Thanks! I'll try one. :)

Thank you! I wouldn't have noticed it over there. I just happen to have an appointment for a cleaning at the dentist tomorrow and it's diagonally across from an IHOP. Normally I wouldn't drive that far just for some pancakes, lol. I was giong to head out early to go to Costco anyway, so I think I'll go a bit earlier and get some pancakes and then Costco before the dentist. That should work out because if it's super busy and I'm running late, I can always hit Costco after. Thanks again for the great idea. Ds4 will be excited. He LOVES pancakes. :)

I ordered from them just after Christmas and got some Easter books and other things to put away. I was very pleased with the order. I think I'll go back and see what I can find. :) -

Seeing as they got the from both veggies and meat eaters, I'll go with that! -
Ugh, I avoid that store because it's too tempting to come home with a bunch of crap I don't really need, lol. I do like all their festive holiday decorations. :) I always pick up shower curtain liners there. They're so cheap! OK, I had to look. The 2 pack of sleepers for $3.99 is an awesome deal! Maybe I'll have to go...

I bought one this year for about $10. It rang up as "Counter Roll". It was AWESOME!!! I wrapped all of the Santa gifts in it and it made it all the way through!!! I only had a little bit left. It was very nice looking paper and much heavier than the typical cheap stuff. Definitely good quality and I would buy again next year. I have had BJ's for a long time because it's near my house and also because my mil pays for the membership every year. I do a lot of shopping there for Cub Scouts. This week I bought water, candy, and chips there for our snack stand for Pinewood Derby. Something I always buy at BJ's in bananas - 3lbs for 99 cents! Before Christmas I signed up for Costco to buy a laptop and a digital SLR camera. I saved several hundred dollars. The Costco is kind of far from my house but I've been back a few times already. A couple weeks ago I wanted to add more carbon monoxide detectors to my house and we were in the neigborhood so we stopped at Costco. I got $47.99 list detectors for $24.99. One of them didn't work right and when hubby went back for a new one he got cash back and then had to go through the line again. When he went through the line the cashier gave him a $5 off coupon and he got it for $19.99! I'm very pleased with the deals. I would go with either of BJ's or Costco, or both! I don't really like Sams and haven't shopped there for a long time now. That's just a personal thing because of the corporate ethics of the WalMart corporation. They'd make Sam Walton roll over in his grave, but that's a topic for another thread. Also, I did buy a camcorder at Sam's in Florida while visiting my mom. I had a problem with it and did have trouble when returning it. BJ's and Costco are cake about returns. Costco even allows a 6 month return policy on electronics!

I'm with you on that one! I can't stand Boca Burgers. I'm a vegetarian and Boca Burgers freak me out! They look like meat and have a texture similar to school cafeteria hamburgers, imo. Give me real veggie food like Garden Burgers or give me none, lol. I actually took a long time before I'd even eat the Garden Burgers, but now I love them. My favorite thing on one is some vidalia onion vinaigrette salad dressing and a slice of tomato. Mmmm...maybe I'll make some tomorrow. :) -
I called my Target to see if they'd take Super Target coupons and they had to check with the manager but she said yes, no problem. I need to get water for our upcoming Pinewood Derby for Cub Scouts (and for myself) so I'm going to print out a bunch and stock up! Thanks for the coupon link! I'm actually drinking that water now and I believe it was around $5 for a 20 pack of 20oz bottles. - I just double checked receipt and it was $5 exactly, so it is only $3 for the water after coupon. Good deal!

I used this site to order magazines for everyone in our family and everyone has started getting them except for me, lol. I'm sure mine will be along soon, as they have been pouring in over the last week or two. I spent about a total of $13 and got 4 subscriptions. :)

Kayakmom replied to noehlp's topic in Online Hot Deals
Thanks! This is what I got. The baby will be born in March and I've been looking for something for her to wear home since it will probably be cold out still. It says it goes up to 7lbs but I think she'll probably be 7 and some ounces when she's born. It says I can return to the store within 6 months, so I'm going to try it. :) Item Item Name Color Size Each Each After Discount Quantity Total layette cardigan 37867102 soft shell upto7lbs. $5.59 $4.75 1 $4.75 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- layette pants 37908302 soft shell upto7lbs. $4.89 $4.16 1 $4.16 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- cabled hoodie 39929705 soft shell 3-6mos $6.99 $5.94 1 $5.94 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- solid leggings 32598703 tearose 0-3mos $3.49 $2.97 1 $2.97 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subtotal: $17.82 Tax: $0.30 Web Code applied to order: BCMA16 (15% off) Shipping (Standard Service): $5.00 Total Discount Applied to Order: 3.14 Total: $23.12 -
Mine wouldn't go with the potty chair, either. He finally got the hang of it when I bought him the little seat to go on the big potty and kept it in there with his stool. He doesn't use the little seat any more, but he always uses his stool. :)

Me too!!! I placed my order at 1:40pm yesterday and it was here this afternoon. The best was when I ordered after 5pm and it STILL arrived the next day!

FAIR WARNING: You may not be able to walk in your house is you get hooked on these!!! LMAO We thought we had EVERY piece and then yesterday, lo and behold, the boxes with those "NEW" tags arrived. We bought the little plane for $4.99 and now we need to get the new train that is $14.99. My ds4 adores these things and my ds9 loves to play with them, too. I love them because they have such fun with them and it's a challenge to get them all, lol. You certainly don't need them all, but after over two years of him maintaining interest in them, it just worked out that way. He loves them so much that he spent every gift certificate he got on them. I highly recommend them. This is a great bargain!!!

I went back to my cart and the items were still there from yesterday and showed shipping $7.95 so I called in. The lady asked me to place my order and call back when I got the confirmation. I put in my cc# and did everything and then it only processed for the amount and no delivery charge. Thanks to everyone for their help on this. :0) My son is a rubber band addict! He usually pays $2.49 for a bag of them. If I ever need one (like this morning), I just go to him. I think I'll have him make me a rubber band ball, lol. It's one of his favorite passtimes.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2005-06
Kayakmom replied to Gator Pam's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I found some baby items that were at least 50% off and a crib sheet that will match perfectly with our theme. I perused the entire store for clearance, but nothing else really struck my fancy. We did find a GeoTrax that is brand new that we don't have, so ds4 thought that was the jackpot!! LOL -
I got the items to come up at 49 cents but I can't get it to work for the free shipping. I didn't have Staples Rewards but I signed up for it and linked it to my regular account.
