  1. I've had a trutech.. it's a really bad brand.. at least the one I had was not good at all. I ended up taking it back. In fact I was looking at the one they had there today for the bf ad. I believe it's the same one I purchased and took back. The only clear picture I got was when I was watching a dvd in the player. I may of just had a bad one but, I didn't want to chance it exchanging it. Hope this helps some.
  2. (on the ad) Great job keeping us all informed Brad!
  3. Mine is the same as my name on here. (CrayZMama80) For aol. My job is crazy but, if ya catch me on I'll chat with ya.
  4. This is going to be my first bf that I have to go into work after shopping. I wonder if I'm gonna stay awake. I already warned them I was going to be tired. I gotta be in at 10:30 am. Somehow I don't see that happening. I did request that day off early last month. No go.. too busy and they don't allow any requested days off till after Christmas. Only one thing that's nice, we get paid to stay home on Thanksgiving. I shoulda paid the lady in charge of all schedules to give me it off anyway.
  5. I can tell you any price for a kitchen aid mixer is a good price. I have had mine for over 25 yrs and it's still running the same now as it did the day I got it.
  6. I have never ran into any road rage ever on bf. It's basically quiet when leaving to start out and wait in the freezing cold temps. On the way home, there's traffic but, (knock on wood) haven't had any trouble with anyone on that day.
  7. I normally am basically done by Halloween and bf is just extra stuff or big ticket stuff.. I'm in big trouble this year. I haven't even started. Yikes!
  8. That's pretty crazy. I do know that when my daughter went to a 24 hour WM thinking they would sell them at 12 am.. they said nope.. not till 7 am..Not sure who's idea that was but she came home and I almost didn't get up! Yikes! Barely crawled outta bed and went there thinking there was going to be a ton of ppl there but there wasn't. So that was lucky on that part. Me and my son can't stop bowling. I used to bowl a lot and it's almost like it except for the heavy bowling ball that I don't have to lift. Hope you find one soon! I wish you best of luck!
  9. Got mine today.. Yipee! Went to WM early cuz of the ad. Got there was second in line. They were actually sold out before the store opened. They only had 8 total in. The guy in charge of them ran it extremely well. So there was no fighting. Good luck to others that are still trying.
  10. Thanks for the info everyone. I've been searching for one of these also. I'm going to have to check into my WM and make a long drive to the TRU also. Gonna keep fingers crossed all the way to both places! GL to Kristi also!
  11. Just this goofy fly wheel thing. My son got the one with the pull cord thing. It has the wheels like skateboard wheels. Has a black thing on it that says remove for play. I have yet to find out how to remove the darn thing. Other then that.. so far so good. Knock on wood!
  12. We have a zoo in our house. Every year tho at this time all the dogs get extra chewies, cookies (dog treats). The cats get cat toys, catnip. Our macaw gets huge bags of assorted nuts that he eats. (not all at once of course) Then the dogs and cats.. all watch us eat.. cuz they know that some ham, turkey, whatever we are having that holiday makes it's way to them. This is the only time of year they get stuff like that. Of course we have to deal with begging year round. But I feel they are family too. So we share. I love my animals!

    New Years?

No idea's on the appetizers. Sounds like you definitely have that covered. Also sounds like a great plan. I like the dropping keys idea. What a great hostess! Keep em safe and off the streets. We normally don't do much on New Years. It's pretty much low key for us. My hubby has to get up at 3 am for work that day this year so I will probably not even be up for the ball drop. Hope you have a great party! Sounds like fun.

    Wrapping paper

Everything gets ripped here..paper, boxes all of it. Hubby uses way too much tape on everything that he wraps. There are sometimes he even uses duct tape for sealing boxes shut so as to prevent snooping!
  15. Ours here is closed. I think this is the only holiday they really all actually get to spend with their families.
  16. Went to bed at 12:30 am.. was wrestless could not sleep. Got back up had some chamomile tea with oldest daughter and gave sleep another shot. Woke up wide awake at 4 am. Went back to bed. Got up at 6:30 for the day. Ughhh I'm sleepy now.. but on laptop in kitchen while cooking.
  17. That's cute that he put it by the tv while that marathon is going on. Merry Christmas!
  18. Ours supposedly is going to be sunny and a high of 35.. yuck.. there is no snow in our forcast at all. This is the only day I want it to have snow. Oh well can't complain. We've been unseasonably warm lately and rain rain rain. Just would like a bit of snow.
  19. I was going to say behind the couch also. I also agree with elena_398...our kids know no one is to go into the living room without mom and dad. The bad thing is, also in our house, the first one up (no matter what time) they are to wake everyone up.. I'd like to get the person that made that one up. Hope it wasn't me! Also to the OP..we had this same dilemma last year. We just kept the bike in our garage and brought it into the house the night before. Just get creative with where to put it. Maybe organize presents to hide it.. stack em up..ok I'm just babbling now. Probably no help.. but good luck!
  20. All our gifts are wrapped.. soon as they came in the door..wrapping paper went on them. My main thing if I ever stop procrastinating, is getting to the grocery store to get the stuff for dinner.. as well as all of my baking. Ughh.. I swear I'm gonna be up all next weekend doing everything, then fall asleep during all the fun!
  21. Sounds like he likes to have loads of fun this time of year. Bet the whole family gets a kick out of it and wonder what is coming year to year. Too cool!
  22. Mine looks so sad too. It used to look so pretty when the kids decorated it. But we have 2 cats in the house as well as a lot of dogs.. there are no more ornaments on the bottom of the tree. I think our youngest cat left most of them under my birds cage..
  23. I love disguising presents. I also love taking something very small and wrapping it.. putting it in another box, wrapping that one.. then another and well you get the point. We always get one person every year. This year since kids are a bit older and everything is under the tree now, there are no names on packages.. I numbered the gifts. 1-4..I also mixed up the order, due to knowing they all would think it was going in order from youngest to oldest. I'm bad that way. Hubby's tools this year ended up in my box for my angel yard decoration so he could not guess what it was. He's worse then the kids!
  24. Ok I'm unsure where either of you are at.. but if you have Aldi food store there..Ours here has them on clearance. I picked up about 6 packages and they were only 1.99 per pack for 40 sheets. Hope you have one there, and if you do hopefully they have them on clearance there also.
  25. Check today's newspaper ads.. I cannot remember what stores had it.. but in my area 2 different stores had it on sale. This is the only other one out there besides season one, (I think) so you won't be lucky enough to get it for the same price as the first season. Ok I was being lazy but looked in the ads again.. BB has it for.. (hope you are ready for this) 44.99 on sale. Target has it for 39.99. I think that's about as cheap as you are going to find it. Hope this helped ya some.
