From experience with warranty's and BB. I am on a brand new laptop right as we speak. Well it's a few months old now, however, I had purchased one of those warranty's through them on my original laptop. They had their trials on fixing the old one. Mostly had something to do with the fan burning out. I did go back a few times. Finally talked to a manager and told him I'm sick of being without my computer. The hard part about that is they have to send laptops out to be worked on. Well to make a longer story shorter..I ended up getting my purchase price to apply it to a new laptop or pc of my choice. Which for that laptop I paid 1900. I ended up getting that 1900 off of this one and I also got the rebates on this one. (was shocked I was able to get those too) Plus I purchased another warranty for the one I'm on now. To me it was worth it. All in all I after rebates I think this one cost me a total of 50 bucks outta pocket. The old laptop I had was btw 3 yrs old.. and was on last months of the warranty. So I guess it's a matter of choice for the warranty. I purchased one for 3 yrs. on that laptop. We also purchased one of those laptops for our daughter on BF. She's gonna be happy with it. It's a good starter for her work for college.

Right now..mine are still sitting in my van!! I have 2 boxes in our basement with other things we had already picked up and packaging tape so they can't get into it without us knowing. The packages we got today.. I have no clue where I'm gonna put them. Too tired to think about it right now. Still feeling the effects of very little rest. Now ya got me thinking.. I really do need to find somewhere!

Here's my minute or 2 right now. Hubby's on his way to best buy and I'm gonna be right behind him to WM. Then other stores. Gonna go crazy >no pun intended< And wowee I gotta whole hour sleep.(Knew that was gonna happen) Ok gotta run! Let the games begin!

Yep.. what motoXmom said! I am in northern Indiana, and we have the apex in the ad as well as the symphonic dvd player. It all depends on location. I'm shocked I got an ad! Other than that, there wasn't much difference in the ad. With the exception of about 8 or so more pages for regular sales etc. I also got the Meijer's Thanksgiving ad today and Kmarts Thanksgiving ad. Not much in either for me.

This is the other one I wanna see too! Is it me or does this day seem to be taking forever to get here?

This is what I'm having hubby pick up. Woo hoo.. someone else had told me there was no mir on it too. Finally more and more things are instant rebates instead of waiting around to get your cash back! Thanks for the heads up on that. Wish I could see the ad. My newspaper hardly has the ads in them. Am thinking someone finds places they want and leaves ads out of their whole delivery area. And they wonder why they don't get tipped. Duhhh..lol! Once I see the ad in person I will know for sure about the rebate deal. Am hoping this is correct. Would be great!

Little word of advice about Meijers.. (not the bf sale) They always have a pretty good Thanksgiving sale too. Last year there was a couple of items in their ad for that day, hubby woke up at 3 and went out there since they are open 24 hours..if you go to get anything for that ad. Go early.. like at midnight.. since they are advertising that part of the sale for Thanksgiving day, they start it at midnight since that is technically Thanksgiving. Needless to say we lost out on what we wanted from that ad. Remember everyone.. I'm talkin about the Thanksgiving sale.. not the BF sale for this store.

Oh yeah..way better idea!!! That's right, money is no option for our dream gifts.. So then, I wanna house with a maid and a pool man! Yeah that's it!

I know the bratz is correct... at least I know they have some sort of bratz put away for that day. Hubby saw them in the garden dept. No shrink wrap tho.. in boxes.. I asked him to peek in the doors there after reading a post somewhere in this forum about the pallets of stuff found in another WM. There were boxes marked for bratz and other boxes marked r/c cars. He also said there was way too much to write down..only thing is.. no description of the type each of them were or prices on them.. wish he woulda accidentally popped open a couple boxes.. Ughhh, I can't take it anymore.. want the ads to get here.

Well there are loads of things I could think of. But with a macaw in the house.. I would like one of those vac's that vacuum's for you while you are gone..Roomba.. yeah that's the name of it. Sounds corny but, it would go right under his cage and get all the nutshells and feathers under there. Oh yeah Jaidensmom.. I wanna bigger house too! I only have 4 kids and I know what you mean. And we have no backyard. Ok, I change my mind.. I wanna bigger house with a roomba to go with it.. <<I love this little guy!

Hey all.. my one sister that checks out this stuff from her place in AZ, and was reading somewhere that another person has a cool idea. For all of us.. all forums included, not just theirs or not just this one, but everyone. In order to recognize everyone from these forums for BF, everyone wear a red shirt that day. (of course for me you will have to wait till layers start coming off cuz of the cold here). At any rate.. it's just a thought from another person that is on another forum. I think it's a cool idea and all ya gotta do to let them know you recognize them as one of the internet forum people is say "Nice Shirt" and if they are they will say "Nice Shirt" back to you. Sounds like fun to me! I'm curious to see how many people there are reading all this stuff and also visiting these websites in my area. Just a thought!

It was totally slow yesterday. I couldn't get threads to open to read them, some did, some said that something was wrong and an email was being sent to someone about the problem.. wonder who?

I agree with mugs, bostonsweety. It is too early yet. And even if there are only one or 2 things that are in stores.. I'm going no matter what. This has always been mine and my hubby's thing to do. We do this together every year. I love the deals some years and others I don't. But it's way too much fun cracking up at the "meanies" and this may sound strange but, the rush I get from being in that "mess" and the crowds is like the best. I guess it just puts me in the mood for the season. Although I'm normally already in the mood in September and waiting on BF to get here.

Most of the time they do not have the stuff there. They hide it from us.. every bit of it.. Some of the items may be new but, mostly they are all things they normally sell..just supposed to be cheaper that day. At my WM the Bratz slumber party doll, that's on the list on the main page, well the sticker on the shelf here says same price..8.88..But, there are no dolls. No matter what, that is an awesome price for that. Those normally run 29 bucks.

Ok, I just hung up with my future son-in-law's sister. (ohhh.. does that make me sound old or what!! ) Anyway, she works for WM. She's had a peek at the ad and is going to check a few things for me that I have on my list when she works next. (she cannot take it out of the store.. gee I wonder why? ) Let's hope she can give me some info on the stuff you have on here as rumors. I did find out there isn't much clothing this year, there are no regular dvd players (at least she said she didn't see any but is checking again). So probably this weekend sometime I can tell ya if I found anything out. One thing that is on your rumored list is correct, and that's the portable dvd player for a hundred bucks. Keeping fingers crossed that she finds out more than I asked her too! I wasn't going to ask anyone I knew there to check, cuz I didn't wanna bug them. But I'm bugging them now! If I find out anything good and post it.. you all gotta promise me to stay outta my WM!! J/K Wish me luck!

Here.. the 24 hour WM's aren't even open on Thanksgiving. They give that day to the families to spend time together. They close up and reopen at the time for the BF sales. Ours gives out maps outside the store while we are in line, describing where each item is located, in what part of the store that blitz item is located at and how to get there. It helps out somewhat, so while you are in line you can figure out what way you wanna run when you get in there. That is, if you don't have a cart, cuz if you grab one, you aren't getting anywhere! Then again if you don't have a cart, you still may not get anywhere! I hate it when people that do have them run the backs of your feet over..OUCH!

Right now our WM here in town has the video now for either 54 or 56 dollars.. can't remember exactly. It's a pretty good deal if you are looking to get one of them for someone on your list. They really gotcha since you have to buy their media to use in them. Money adds up as you have to keep purchasing their disks. I think they would of been better if you could just of used a dvd in them. But that's how business goes and they probably would of been at "least" a hundred if that was the case. Cute little machines tho.

Last year at WM it was totally nuts in there! As soon as the doors opened up.. everyone was pushed inside. My eldest daughter, got pulled from my arm and was sent over to the backs of the registers. She's 19 but as small as a 12 yr old. We were yelling back and forth as to where to meet and I told her to keep the walkie talkie's on. Just as I told her that, a man came flying back at me (backwards of course), I guess some man was just a bit upset with him over something. So much so, that he punched him and that's when he fell into me! Crazy ppl.. that's why I go shopping on this day! Love to laugh at the ones that act dumb and argue over stuff! Well second to getting bargains on this day! We normally get everything we go after, sometimes more than that!
