I like my Zen...got it from Amazon, but I've seen one in Wal-mart that would serve a 10 and 13 year old quite well.

All of the recipes above sound wonderful. Thanks to all for sharing. I might get the nerve to try a few during the holidays. Coming from the BBQ capital of the US [OK..one of them!], my family usually goes to a local BBQ joint Xmas eve and picks up a variety of sliced meats, coleslaw, potato salad and corn/ham casserole. I spend a little time baking a couple of cakes, a sweet potato pie and other desserts and the rest of the time is spent with family and friends.

Bummer...all 3 in my area are going away!!! Guess I'll start stalking the aisles to see if they discount anything. That might explain why I've gotten no ads in the paper for the last two weeks.

If you are open to suggestions, the GVP brand that Sally Beauty carries is supposed to be made by Chi. I've used it and am very happy with it. It's probably about $60 for the 1 inch style. Comes in a cute Red or Pink color, too.

In my area, if it's something that you think might be on clearance, I've had very good luck with Nordstrom's Dept. Store. Got a huge Legacy bag over the summer for about $85 less than anywhere else. Store clerk was nice enough to have it shipped from another store. It was neatly packed and had a gift box, tissue paper, etc. I was very impressed with the care they took to ship it.:)

I don't have a Costco American Express or regular American Express. I think it depends on how often and how many of the coupons you use when you get a booklet too. I use quite a few and share with co-workers, so my booklet is pretty empty by the end of the discount period.

Did anyone save the coupon for the Horizon milk that they would want to share?

I'm blessed - for the last 6 years or so, that day has become part of the Thanksgiving holiday. The day after Xmas is another matter...unless Xmas falls on a Thursday. Oh well, 1 outta 2 ain't bad.

Depending on the size needed K-Mart, Fashion Bug, Sears, JCPenney...(online as well), and the others listed above. B&M--Macy's and Dillards offer petite plus sized pants and have tons of clearance merchandise this time of year. HTH...

Need another opinion? I love Western Digital products. Look for rebates elsewhere on some of their products.
