Digital Camera for 8 year old...suggestions?
debbha replied to Jannabear's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I've known a few people that got a Polaroid from Target for less than $70 for their kids. From the pictures I've seen, it's not a bad camera. -
I saw some really nice clearance sets at Macy's....very nice and great price. I particularly like this one... http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=386460&PseudoCat=se-xx-xx-xx.esn_results

Air Conditioning/ cooling system

I am in the KC area....call around and check. If you get the Sunday paper, there are several reputable companies that offer new A/C units with heat for that price. IM me with info about what part of town you're in. Might be able to recommend one. -

Any Deals On "Coach" - I need a wallet
debbha replied to arelf27's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Another great place to score Coach is Nordstroms. I was looking for a particular Coach purse and noticed that several on eBay had Nordstroms receipts. I called my local store and was lucky enough to find a salesclerk who got the purse from a Vegas store for me...scored a $448 purse for less than $190. I was in heaven. The purse was neatly packed and mailed. -

Are you in the KC area? I called two other stores and they'd sent theirs out. I still have the new one in the trunk of my car... but I suspect it will be going back this weekend. -

I'm so bummed about some of the bargains in the KC area. I had high hopes that the Magic Chef icemaker would be marked down again to the $42.50 that others paid. Imagine my surprise when I went to 2 Targets (one had 5 on the shelves the night before-Thursday) only to find that rather than do any further markdowns, they sent the stuff to "salvage", whatever that is??? I'm really mad now. I guess I'll be taking that sucker back next week and getting my $84 back. Man I'm jealous of some of you!!!! -

Shame on you...I have avoided going to Target...but tonight I went and bought this thing (only 50%) in the hope that it will be marked down in 10 days or so. They had 2 more and I'm praying no one will want it. That box weighed a ton and didn't fit in the Honda trunk, but I managed to get it in the door. Thank God for 4-door cars!!!! -

Thanks...my fav store too. I hear a lot about the Stanley and Mission stores, but have never been there. Chouteau usually has a lot of clearance and I can run there over the lunch hour, but lately, the cupboards have been bare. -

Anyone in the KC area seen the George Foreman Fryer? If so, please let me know. Thanks in advance. -
If you have a Dollar General, I know that I'd seen shells there. Also in Dollar Tree. I seem to remember some that you could put in a glass lamp. All were less than $2 a bag. HTH.

OKAY...now I'm nosy. What kind of stock pot??? -
Not sure what part of KS you are in...but if it's Overland Park or that area, try Cabelas, or Bass Pro. Also try Sears for Carhartt products. The insulated overall pants run about $65 or so.

Boy am I glad I stayed away from Independence Center. I wanted a Coach bag...but I knew better. Last spring I went in and almost got beat up over a clearance Dooney. I will wait for another fav retailer to mark them down. I got lucky this spring and got a $398 Coach bag for less than $140.

I have the yellow DC07 all floors that I caught on a sale at Target almost 4 years ago. I wouldn't trade this vacuum for anything. It's paid for itself. I put it head to head with my brother's Oreck and of course, I won!!! Sam's Club used to have a Dyson that was made for them that I thought about getting...you might look in Sam's Club or Costco before purchasing, but wherever you get it from, I'm sure you'll be pleased.

I love Pacific Chai....I believe their website is www.pacificchai.com

I think it depends on the sales clerk. Last year I bought some Xmas cards and returned them Xmas eve, without problems. This year, I tried something like that and was told it was seasonal and couldn't. I will attempt to return them again in a couple of days.

29 inch luggage (preferrably lightweight)
debbha replied to mywarmbluefleece's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Kohl's usually has American Tourister right at $99 on sale for that size. I'm not sure if there are any coupons or codes out there. I light the weight and durability of that brand. I'm sure other places might have luggage too. JCPenney is another good place to look. -
The last batteries that I bought were Kirklands brand from Costco. Seems like it was 48 AA or AAA batteries for less than $11.
