  1. Every manufacturer of hot water heaters has several model numbers and any one can produce a bad batch. One of our hwh was a local hardware stores brand and I was told it was a piece of crap...needless to say it was a 5 yr. model that lasted for over 13 years. I heard horror stories about the Kenmore brand (made by Whirlpool) that I bought a Reliant brand. So far so good. Keep your receipt for the one from Lowe's and pray that it goes on sale in the next week or so. I think they make price adjustments...or shop around, they claim to price match.
  2. OOS already! Drats....I feel another round of late nights coming!
  3. Hey...buzzt if you see this on time...JCPenney's has a discount code of FEBSURV that can be used for an add'l 15% off until the end of tonight. Good luck.
  4. Also, try Wal-mart. They have a lot of clearance and one of a kind deals on TV's now. Many can be found for less than $250.00 depending on size.
  5. I must be blessed...the Sears I deal with in KC is the opposite. They bend over backwards to make a sale. I've never been turned down for a deal...and they honor their sale prices. I thought Sears bought out Kmart??!! Either way...I've never had problems with them.
  6. If you have a weather icon on mozilla and the temp changes...it will ping the C4C.
  7. Yes. But I've seen someone mention a site called www.retailmenot.com and it appears that they also list non-cardholder codes as well. New3998 for 10% off for non-cardholders until 2/23.
  8. Call them...you might be lucky enough to get one....
  9. When was it up earlier...guess I missed it too. Are you using your discount codes? I used mvcpickaday for 15% off and mvc4242 for free shipping.
  10. Check out responses #252, 256 and 258 in this thread for info on the C4C add-on to firefox. I'm not a techie...but found it easy to install and use. And believe me it works.
  11. Yep...and then going back into the C4C thing, and selecting "custom" and checking, play a sound and be sure to check OK to make that stick. I'm impressed with this feature. It worked twice for me earlier today for an eBay bid. When something occurs to change your highlighted text, you get a pop-up in the lower right of your computer screen, with a sound that says, "change change"...or something like that.
  12. OMG...I just got one!!!!! The C4C actually worked!
  13. Look online at Target. I know that they carry both ottoman and recliner/chair slipcovers in black. Not sure about the dimensions though. HTH.
  14. Like this? I know it's not a Jersey..but close. I found it at amazon.com by searching Cleveland Indians toddler apparel....
  15. Glad to help....returning the many times that others have helped me. I too was surprised to find so many ways to say "orange". My brother works for our local power company and tried to see if the uniform company that they used had colors like this..unfortunately, they didn't. But I will keep looking. Have you tried a local uniform company? Many of those places can ask a manufacturer and get something like that....I still remember looking for 100 percent cotton socks and other apparel and finally stumbling upon someone willing to order in bulk.
  16. I am so mad...again I miss it! I went to bed at 1:40AM thinking I'd see it pop up...and I miss it by 2 hours. I'm getting close.
  17. the thumbnail is from the www.kingsizedirect.com, I will keep plugging to see if I see an orange one. I think the appropriate color is called orange glow or orange blaze. I've seen T-shirts on safety clothing sites, but not a turtleneck. Wish I could be more help. Worse case scenario would be that I saw a women's orange turtleneck in plus size at Land's Ends website.
  18. I can't believe I went to bed about 10 minutes before they became available. I'm getting close...guess I'm doomed.
  19. On firefox...that check4change is a plug-in and the gist of it is that you pull up a webpage and highlight the text that you want to check to see if it changes...i.e. the "sorry it's out of stock and not available"...you right click on the highlighted stuff and go down to check4change and pick an interval to check like every 15 seconds, minute, etc. the you set the settings to emit a sound when there is a change. You have to leave this webpage open...and it checks to see if changes are made and notifies you when they have been made.
  20. I went and installed firefox and the check4change upload to see if I ever get pinged when the thing becomes available. Let's see if this works. I want that set, so this is my last attempt at getting it.
  21. Is this close enough?
  22. If you go to www.kingsizedirect.com and search turtlenecks...they have one that is called rust that is basically the orangey...pumpkin color from Halloween. Don't know if that would be close enough. When I enlarged the photo...it looked orange to me. HTH.
  23. Shiloh...you and me both...I was right on there last night when the post was made...and for some reason, I managed to have Kohl's website pulled up as well...and there was nothing there to be bought. I managed to get a Rachel Ray item one night at about 3AM (don't ask why I was up that late...I'll deny everything).
  24. I have to agree with cardmama...I have yet to actually be able to log in to the Kohl's site and find cookware on clearance. I've done a sku # 87462859 search and the item doesn't come up that way. I was even on this site last night when the post appeared for them being available and I couldn't see any. It gets frustrating...but I will keep trying. I have been in several department stores and they are priced in the $200-$300 range for the same set.
