So how did this work at your store? I didn't have a problem with the store entry - it just took a bit longer. The front of the line who were only their for TVs were actually leaving the store by the time I got into the store. The crowd control plan at Electronics was an EPIC FAIL. That's where my Target put the Kindles. I think they should have just put the Ipods behind the counter - but no. I still cannot see the logic in that. I mean they had $99 cameras on the shelves, $89 GPS units in the aisle, $300 TVs in the aisle, $100 bluray players in the aisle. Why put the $85 Kindle behind the counter and then only staff it with 2 people? I stook in that line for almost an hour. The entrance with the crowd control barrier things have always been at my Target. They did have a poilce officer at the front of the line.

Dang you Target!! Yesterday in the mail I got their Christmas book with a bunch of coupons I could have used. Guess I'm back to Target today to see if I can rebuy some of my stuff.

Well it was safer at my Walmart. No one got hurt and if you were there early .. you got what you wanted. Employees were telling people to go ahead and take what you wanted and they cleared the aisles as the products left. Loved it.

My Walmart was letting people putting them in buggies around 730pm. No tickets at my store.

My store got 30.

My super WM let you put items in your buggy when the pallets hit the floor. They told us you could not pay for the items until they went on sale though. I watched someone try to checkout at 12M item at 10pm and the register beeped. They have changed it because it was so dangerous to rip the pallets open and make ir be a free for all.

Got almost everything on my list online. Already got the notice that The Big Bang Theory season 4 is on backorder. It was the first thing in my cart, so I'm glad it got backordered instead of cancelled. For those of you who are looking for Itunes cards .. Walgreens today is buy $30 worth of ITunes cards, get a $10 Walgreens gift card.

well DD20 found someone to hold her spot in line while she is working tonight from 6pm to 11pm. Right now she has 7 people in front of her. I told her she better find out now if they have any plans to let anyone else join their group. She's there to get the 42 inch TV and it will not be pretty if they run out of tickets 1 person ahead of her if someone else shows up.

Yeah BB in Cary, NC said they would have less than 5 .. even though their flier says min 10 per store. They didn't want to share that info either.

As much as BB has done to perfect camping out and tickets there is no way that a store manager would agree to it. I don't know how old your kids are but it makes me wonder if that guy is just spouting BS and is thinking they are kids and they won't question it. Yes keep us posted please.

If they were my kids i'd head over to BB and speak directly to the manager myself. There is no way that BB would agree to that. I would then take him/her outside and explain to my kids that line cutting is okay. My DD20 has to work today until 11pm and she can't find anyone to hold her spot so she isn't even going to go now til tonight. She's so disappointed.

Any stores closing around you? shelving units like that are dirt cheap if you can find a place going out of business and is selling everything. And check to see if you have a Habitat store around you. They recycle stuff when people are doing demos - so you may find a garage door unit and the shelves if you call and ask.

Our closest store normally has lines starting on Wed night in prior years. I'm thinking she's going to be too late .. we shall see. And I will be at home on Turkey Day ordering whatever I can online.

Biggest difference between Super Walmart and regular Walmart ... Super Walmart is open on Thanksgiving and you can wait inside. You can also grab a dog bed from the pet section and use it to sit on.
