  1. I'm just curious why you type "CHRISTMAS" without the "i"????
  2. That might be okay for the 7 & 9 year olds, but definitely NOT the 2 year old. Even 5 is pushing it. Barbies, Play-Doh sets, dress-up clothes, Polly Pockets, Little People sets, etc. would all be good.
  3. Thanks, my girls love this store.
  4. She is talking about the Biggest Littlest Pet Shop, not the smaller sets.
  5. Mmmmm! I will definitely be making these!
  6. I agree. I wouldn't even be referring to her as his "girlfriend" at this age.
  7. I paid $27.99 at Toys R Us. It was on sale for $32.99, plus I used my $5 off $25 coupon. This was back in November though.

    Bratz Dolls

My 6 and (almost) 9 year old daughters have been playing with Bratz for a few years now. I agree that some (okay, most) of the clothing is inappropriate. However, my girls know that WE don't wear clothing like that and they just have fun playing with them. They have even told me "We don't wear shirts that show our tummies. They are inappropriate!" It's just a toy.
  9. No, luckily I don't have to move anything to fit the tree.
  10. Personally, I'd pass on the Slurpee machine. Those kinds of things are usually not what they're cracked up to be, and the novelty tends to wear off pretty quickly. Waste of money, if you ask me.
  11. I'm going to do some more shopping and start my wrapping.
  12. I'll be excited come Christmas Eve.
  13. Beautiful!!
  14. The only ones I have wrapped so far are the teacher gifts, and I didn't actually "wrap" them -- I stuck them in gifts bags with some tissue paper.
  15. Not a darn thing! Half the time, it's a substitute carrier and we NEVER know what time the mail is going to be here. We've gotten it as late as 3:00 in the afternoon. The mail carrier also broke the flag off my first mailbox -- she hung a heavy bag on a PLASTIC mailbox flag because she was too lazy to bring it up to the porch!! I left a little note for her the next day....
  16. Exactly! I would be furious if those cousins ruined it for your daughter. Three years old is practically a baby! And why on earth would you EVER tell your child there is no Santa Claus??? Let them figure it out on their own...
  17. I went to Walmart today and they had at least 25 of those big 2 ft. Superman figures by the entryway, still selling for $15. I also saw at least 10 Dora tv/dvd players. Not sure about the price on those, though.
  18. This is similar to what we do.
  19. I like to shop in store.
  20. That's interesting! Yasmin is MY favorite anyway, LOL.
  21. Not until the kids go back to school.
  22. I had a good first-time Wal-mart BF experience. I got there at about 5:00am, got everything on my list, and checked out at 5:22am.
