My daughter will be 9 on December 27th. We have her party a couple weeks before, and on her actual birthday she gets her gifts from family and gets to spend the day doing whatever she wants. It is celebrated the same as any other time of year.

A diner for breakfast after I've obtained all my must-haves. If I'm still out at lunchtime, Panera Bread. Leftovers at home.

Yes, it throws me off. I can't think straight when he's with me, and he doesn't want to take the time to find the best price -- he'll just pay whatever they're asking in the first store he comes to. He also tends to pick out impractical things, then gets insulted when I shoot down his ideas.

I went to Target yesterday (11/5) and both the One Spot and the Halloween stuff were 75% off.

I am really behind this year. I generally have all or most of my kids' toys bought by now, but all I have so far is one CD! I am afraid everything's gonna go on sale for really cheap after I buy it, so I keep waiting. But I really have to get going on this.

Too much of a hassle for me personally.

We no longer have a KBToys nearby, but the ad doesn't look that great to me anyway. I just skimmed it quickly, but I did notice that two things I want are "on sale" for their regular selling price. And B2G1F on the Fisher-Price toys isn't that great. How about B1G1F???

I think I'll probably try one of the others this time, Pam. They all sound so good!

Heck no!! I have been overcharged many, many times. On the rare occasion they make a mistake in MY favor, I don't say a word and I don't feel guilty about it. Too bad for them!

I think they've been available for a couple years. I don't really care for them, though. To me, they're too bright and not very Christmassy. I guess I'm a traditionalist, lol.

Probably not one I'd see in the theatre, but I suppose we'll rent it when it comes out on dvd.

They have so many pretty ones. We buy a couple each year. I also like the fact that they are dated, so you can look back and remember when you got it.

I couldn't pick just one favorite ornament -- I love them all.

We try to keep it at 10 gifts each, no more than 12. This works nicely for us. In the past we went overboard and the kids didn't really appreciate any of it.

I made the Creme Brulee French Toast last year and it was divine!
