Our Super Walmart is open on Thanksgiving & stays open thru the night.

Well I was up & out the door this morning before 6am. Headed to Penny's & was gonna get the towels for 3.99 but was dissapointed in the size. Went to look in the mens section & got my hubby a Budweiser hooded sweatshirt for 17.99, reg. 42.00. I thought that was a great bargain. Next headed to Kohl's & they had the pillows I had wanted on sale 50% off. I got 2 of those & another pressie for hubby. Went to Shopko & didnt buy a thing. LOL I am happy tho that I went out this morning & got the few things I did.

Well it looks like I will be gettin up early & goin shopping too. Will be heading to Penny's first, then Kohl's then goin to Shopko.

I love it snowing on X-Mas however we dont get that very much here anymore. Kinda odd cause I am in Minnesota. The past years we have had very little snow on the ground or non at all. I will never forget one year we had no snow & the grass was still green! All over town all you saw was green grass on X-Mas. We had temps in the 40s. Even in January we had temps in the 40s. Usually January here can be really cold but not that year. I think this might happen again this year. We have had very few days of cool weather. We still get days where it is in the 60s! Just strange weather we have now in MN.

I saw that in the theatre. Wasnt too bad of a movie. Had alot of funny moments thruought the movie.

Anyone watched any X-Mas movies yet? I was up early early this morning drawing on the puter & was so tempted to put A Christmas Story in the DVD player. I think soon tho I will just have to put it in & watch it. heh

I ordered Ralphies house. I had to have it. LOL I really didnt care for the rest of the set. It was shipped out today & I cant wait to get it home & set it up. :)

This is scary it being not far away. I have not even begun to shop for X-Mas. More then likely my X-Mas shopping wont start till BF.

Yes I am very excited & can't wait to go out shopping with all the other crazies. LOL Just kidding

Gotta have the chasing lights multi colored. Just love em. Got new ones for this year & cant wait to put em on the tree. :)

I just went to there website to find these & did! OMG I just had to get Ralphie's house. LOL I wasnt too interested in the other houses. It was also on sale. I cant wait to get it. Thanks for posting about this cause I had no clue they had such a thing.

Christmas Story is my fave. I watch it alot over the holiday season & have the marathon of it on every year. LOL I can't wait to put in my DVD of it in a few weeks. teehee Another fave is Christmas Vacation. Very funny movie.

On Thanksgiving look thru the ads & plan. Usually we go to Shopko & KMart on Thanksgiving. We no longer have Kmart so go to Shopko & Walmart. Most of the time I can never get to sleep the night before BF. I dont get much sleep, get ready & leave between 4 & 5am. Get all the shopping done & come home to wrap presents & put up the X-Mas tree if it's not already up. LOL Put a X-Mas movie in the DVD player & enjoy rest of the relaxing eating leftovers. LOL I forgot to add that last year there was not many BF ads in our paper either. I thought that was very strange. I bought 2 papers & they had very little in them. Hopefully this year it will be better.

I enjoy it for the most part but I do have those moments where I get very annoyed. I go every year tho so I guess I dont mind it too much. LOL I love to shop so this day is perfect for me.

I still cannot get over what some people did to get these. I mean some spent hundreds of dollars even over 1,000 to get one. What makes me laugh a bit is alot of the people who bought these for there kids, after a bit the kids lots interest. I can think of better way to spend this kind of money then a Elmo doll.

The years before I married. It would always be my mom & I shopping on BF. Now that I am married, I drag hubby along. LOL I will never forget the look on his face his first BF shopping experience. He is from Canada so they dont have this sorta thing there. Anyway we was at Shopko. The doors opened & people were just rushing to get in. He could not believe how these people were acting. I told him it's like this every year.

I just cannot get over how some people act on BF. I have never had anyone take something out of my hands or cart. Thank god. Few years ago the police was called to out one mall cause 2 women got into a fist fight over an item. Cannot remember what it was. I told my hubby that if people need to get into fist fights over items on BF they should not be out shopping.

Nope, apartment is too small for that. I just put the gifts wherever theres room. LOL

The one Black Friday I will never forget is the time I stood in line waiting for Herberger's to open. That year they was giving out this nice platter/mug set. I wanted one really bad. I was half way thru the line I believe. The doors finally opened & people went crazy grabbing the bags. I tried to get thru but it looked like I was gonna miss out. I noticed that they had some of the bags of the free gift under the table. I made my way thru, crawled under the table & grabbed one. LOL I figured while I was under there I would grab another one for my trouble. I got out from under the table & right beside it was this display of xmas stuffed animals. I knocked a few of those over & almost bumped into someone trying to get out the door. I made it out tho with 2 free gifts. LOL When I told the story to my mom & family they just looked at me & couldnt believe what I had done. I dont think I will do that again. LOL

I try to get as much of my shopping done that day as I can. All depends on what they have on sale & who I have to buy for. As the years are passing it is getting fewer & fewer I have to buy for so dont have to worry too too much on what to get.

I'm staying clear of Walmart this year. I had my fill of that store 2 years ago getting stuck in the middle of those cheap DVD players. Thought I was never gonna get out. I will head to Target & Shopko instead.

I would spend it on DVDs. Which ones, I am not sure cause there are a ton of DVDs I want. I would probally try to find the cheaper ones that I want so I could buy more. :)

Hubby & I are goin to the mall on Sunday. We didnt get a chance to go yesturday. Plus I got the new ads that start on Sunday & see more bargains so I wil be goin. LOL
