I also really like my Crocs, they are super comfy. They have a good arch to them. http://www.jildorshoes.com/images/products/AthensChocolateLightBlue_150.jpg
I have 2 pr of Nike Celsos. They feel like you're walking on clouds and when you need to wash them just throw them in the washing machine. http://www.famousfootwear.com/productimages/ff_ia30752.jpg
You might try an independent shop. We have a store about 30 minutes from here that is locally owned and they carry carhart clothing. They have the cheapest prices around. Alot of farm or feed stores will carry carhart clothing also.
I seen the square dinner plates (with all of the other stuff to match) at walmart just the other day. They were olive green, beige, or a burnt red color. I really liked them.
How old are your kids? The reason I ask is because my 11 1/2 yr old weighs around 90 pounds and it would not be pretty if I tried to wrestle her in a 5 pt harness car seat, lol.
I think the only way my dh would like a digital photo frame is if I took Rockfordmom's advice and took some "interesting" photos of myself to put on it. That is a great idea.
Don't forget the air conditioner, lol. We live a mile from the lake and camp alot during the summer (in an air conditioned camper ) and I've seen this same setup on more than one occasion. http://www.lilligren.com/Redneck/images/redneck_cool_camping.jpg
Somewhere...I really don't remember where...maybe the county health unit or DHS, will provide them free or at a very minimal cost to families in certain situations. I don't know if that's an option everywhere but they do here. It might be worth looking into.
