7.5 ft. and really full. I got it on clearance a few years ago and I really love the way it looks, but it is not prelit and it is a job to take down and get it to fit back into the box.

Darn, that is a good price. Too bad we don't have a Costco in SW Arkansas. I'm hoping something around here will have a CPK bargain on BF.
-
Strictly cash! I don't stick to a budget very well and this way I can't overspend. When it's gone, it's gone and I go home.
-
No way do I feel bad about looking at them early. I would think that this site is wonderful advertisement for BF businesses. If I were CEO of a business I would probably leak the list myself.
-
Two things that could make me stay home: sick kid, or knowing my luck my vehicle would break down, heat/air unit would go out, or whatever and there goes the $$$ I've saved! I'd definitly be staying home if I were broke.

Which stores typically have the fewest BF items in stock?

Last year I got to radio shack pretty early (I thought) and they were out of everything I wanted. I ended up buying one of those m&m radios for 5$ and that was it. Unless their ad is just absolutly spectacular I won't waste my time there this year. -
I am in SW Arkansas so I would take snow just about anytime EXCEPT for BF. Most of the time it is 60-70 degrees. Chilly in the am but by the afternoon you are stripping down to the T-shirts.

I have never gone on the 26th but I am hoping to go this year. First I need to clear my schedule of all those darn family gatherings.

WalMart, Sears, Radio Shack, JC Penny, Lowes Went to WM first, but I missed some things I really wanted @ JC Penny and Sears. If their ads look good this year I will be going there first and just hope that WM doesn't run out of the toys that my kids will want.

I buy and sell on eBay and have already done lots of Christmas shopping there. I always find great bargains on DVD's and clothes for the kids. Oh yea, the dog chewed up my sons Dash toy (Incredibles, McDonald's Happy Meal toy). He was devistated! Found one on eBay for .99 + .75 shipping! He said he would love me forever (he's 4).

Ours is 24/7 also, but they would not dream of cutting open the pallets before 6:00 on the dot! They have 2 employees at each pallet armed with scissors and at 6:00 ( on the dot! ) they cut them open and then the chaos breaks out.

My daughter is 10 and she has decided she wants to go this year with me and my sister. I think I will let her in on the madness this year.

TOOLS! - for hubby, FIL, BILS, dad. They had some great deals last year.
-
I will probably have to load up on the really hot items if I can. My sister and I will go together and since everyone else in the family is to lazy (or maybe we're just insane) to get up that early they put in their order and we pick it up.
-
For the past 4 years we have gone to WM first, because of their stupid pallet rules it doesn't do much good to get there too early. I think this year we may go to Sears first so we will be getting up a little earlier to get in line.
-
I have never gone alone. My sis and I always go together, but if for some reason she couldn't go with me I would definitly go alone. I don't think anyone else could possibly understand everything that is going on in my head on BF so they would just get in my way!

No boycotting here, not even Walmart! If its cheap and I want it I'll buy it even if the empolyees are rude. Rude people are just going to be rude no matter what day it is, take a lesson from my kids and let it go in one ear and out the other.

Well, if your gonna hide it-hide it good! I have know people (not me of course) to hide toys in the frozen foods section of their WM supercenter! This is not really a secret, more like dumb luck. My sister and I were in WM 2 yrs. ago (I think) when everyone was going crazy for the cheap dvd players. There were hundreds of people packed in like sardines around the pallets of dvd players in the electronics dept. and we were in the very back of the pack. When the employees started cutting the wrapping off of the pallets lets just say the dvd players started flying. We were actually backing out of the way so we wouldn't get injured when we noticed an employee cutting the wrapping off of a pallet in the housewares section, and what do you know?! DVD players! We casually strolled up, put 3 in the cart, and went on our merry way.

We put our tree up the day before Thanksgiving (no time on Thanksgiving Day and I like it up when I get through shopping on BF) but it is such a hassle to take down I have been know to leave it up until the middle of March!

I'm in southwest Arkansas and I too have seen the commercial for the 27.86 dvd player. Sears does have one for 19.99.

I'm in southwest Arkansas and it's supposed to be 60 and mostly sunny, which is a nice shocker for us it has been raining on and off for days.

I haven't had any luck finding the booklet and the coupon does say "no photocopies". If I can't find the booklet, I'm hoping I get a really nice (or really dumb) sales clerk and they let me use my copy.
