Nope, I don't. I don't care if it's a .97 lip gloss or Hot Wheels. I have never caved. The closest my kids come to getting anything early from us is on Christmas Eve. The know they always have pajamas to open the night before Christmas.

The town we shop in is about an hour away from us but there are a few service stations about 15 minutes from my house that sell paper I need. I just get out really early on Thanksgiving and go get them. If I were you I'd start calling service stations closer to you to see if they will be available there, more than likely they will.

The only recon I'll be doing is with my sale ads trying to finalize plans. So, none of the options in your poll really applied to me so I chose the last one...too funny, lol. :)

Yes, and even though he is not living in your house he is your husband's son and should have no less value in your family unit than the 2 children you have together. Actually, I don't really think that you have to spend the same amount of money on any of your kids as long as they get things they like and they don't feel cheated. This means you may spend more on the 11yo than you do your own kids...or you may not, just depending on what they like.

A few people have asked about the chat. I think I remember Brad saying it wasn't compatible with something or another now. We had some good times in the chat room. And yes, that's about as technical an explanation you can get out of me.

What would be the point of listing the items without the correct prices?

I really don't know this year. I'm trying to decide where to start. My first option is to start with Sears, JCPenny, Radio Shack, Dillards, Gamestop...they are all in the same mall. My second option is to go to Office Depot, old Navy, Hibbets, and Goody's. I really need to see the Office Depot ad and I'm afraid I'm going to have to wait until Thanksgiving to see some of the ads for the smaller stores (like Goody's, Hibbetts). This is the first year in a long time that it may come down to the wire before I decide where to go first. I do know one thing, I do NOT have to worry about going to walmart first thing (if at all) so that's great.

I probably won't send out my cards until the first week of Dec. either. I already know what I'm going to get for the ornament exchange, after seeing who I got it was easy. My SS gift exchange is going to be a little harder.
