I think I remember standing in line years ago with my aunt and grandma at KBToys. I don't know for how long though, I was still a kid. I have always gone to a 24 hour walmart first thing so I've always been waiting inside. This year may be a different story. There are a few things I want at Sears and if walmart doesn't come up with something better and the office depot ad isn't very good that's where I'll be. I'll get there early enough to get the $10 GC's because I'll have my 11 yo daughter with me so that will be $20 to go toward our purchases.

Not that my vote really matters because I don't even have a CC near me but...I hate MIR's! So I voted somewhat dissapointed. :) The price of the GBA SP is pretty nice though. I really wish walmart would've come out with that price.

Well today is most definitely your lucky day then!

I think that the PSP will be a line item but the Dora car will probably be a mad dash item. Thank goodness I don't need either of them, lol. Good luck. :)

I went ahead and bought one today for $129. I paid more than I wanted to but I got the pink, which can be hard to find sometimes. If I find a better deal, I'll return this one.

Is this what you're looking for? http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=52885

I dont' think it's going to get any lower. And the pink one is impossible to find around here. Thanks to a wonderful GD'er who sold me her extra pink one at cost my 3 yo will have one for Christmas. :)

We bought 2 of the venturer dvd players from walmart last year. One works great still and one quit working about a month ago.

I love all the people but I can't always get into GottaDeal.

It happens to me sometimes also but usually if I hit refresh it comes right up. -
I wouldn't even wrap the tub. I'd just tied a big ribbon around the whole thing and put some colorful tissue paper on the inside.

No theme really as the kids have made so many ornaments and they all go on the tree with everything else. I'm working on getting more anget ornaments though.
-
I'd say probably old navy also. I plan on going there later in the day.

nope, I don't know of any retailer issuing rain checks, when they're gone they're gone
-
Again, not everything is a big deal.
-
I don't think it will have any impact. I'm just glad they are letting people say what they want whether that it's Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, or whatever else. Things are blown way out of proportion these days, IMO.

Bump for all newbies. :) I'm starting mine right now.

Now I just need to see the office depot ad. :)
-
They're probably trying to confirm it right now.

That's what I'm sayin'! Kinda makes you wonder...

There are 3 different ads posted in that thread. Again, none of them is the bf ad. The last ad kiwibearkiss was talking about was the Nov. 12-19 ad.

What is the most unusual way you wrapped a gift?

I know. The Hamburger Helper box she used was probably the best one. My 5 yo's favorite food is hamburger helper and when that box was unwrapped last year he shouted, "Oh man, Hamburger Helper!". He was so excited. He was dissapointed when it wasn't actually HH in the box. -
My parents usually spend around the same on my dh as they do on me, I guess. It really depends on what they know we want. We don't really go on price in my family, we just try to make sure the gift is thoughtful and it's something that will be used and enjoyed. Doesn't matter if it costs $10 or $100.
