  1. I'm not sure what that means... 35 dollars is still a decent price, at least better than electrocutic yourself.
  2. The Target in Palatine, IL has great finds for 4G iPod cases... genuine leather for $3.49. Located in the fartherst corner of the store (next the pharmacy).
  3. Is it even worth it? You can walk into BestBuy today and buy a dvd player for 35 dollars.
  4. No, it isn't legal. If the RIAA wanted to take action against you they could... (Although the chances of that happening are really slim...) Read this article: http://www.times-online.com/articles/2006/03/08/news/07music.txt
  5. Hello. I'm looking for deals on my contact lenses. I currently use 1800Contacts, and I'm quite happy with the service. I also know that's a reputable company. Anyway, I see new stores popping up (like lens.com and the like). Has anyone ever ordered from alternative companies? Obviously I'm concerned with getting authentic (and non-expired!) products.
  6. I always buy mall gift certificates as Christmas presents for my teenage cousins... My mall charges a $2.50 "protection fee" in case the cards are lost or stolen. But anyway, yes, $10 dollars is very steep.
  7. I'm sure many plasmas will be on sale in the next few weeks.

    Winkflash?

I love Winkflash. I have relied on them to develop my graduation pictures, my sister's wedding pictures, and now my new niece. I've been a Winkflash customer for a long time and I have never been let down!
  9. Where did you hear this? Wal-Mart sets market guidelines, not the other way around!
  10. I bought a Palm about a while ago... I used it for about a month and then just stopped. I love technology... I carry my iPod, laptop, PSP, everywhere but I just could not fit a Palm in my daily routine...
  11. My favorite beverage anytime of the year... Coca Cola. Mmmm... Delicious. My favorite beverage during Chicago's winter... Hot apple cider. Mmmm... Warm. And yes, I forgot about my tea. Born and raised in Europe = a minumum of 6 cups of hot tea a day. Sugar and lemon, please :).
  12. That's both tacky and gaudy... Hmmm, isn't that a fire hazzard waiting to happen?
  13. That's nice. I always hate cutting up the box, especially if it's cardboard.
  14. Don't you need to submit the actual UPC code (cut it out and send it in)?
  15. I sure did. And I know exactly which brands were always brought back because the customer wasn't happy with the quality. You also have to realize that stores have access to the best possible broadcast feeds... Pure HD... with better equipment then is available to the average consumer. Hence the television picture will always look better in the store.
  16. Well even the cheapest plasmas (and I mean cheap both in terms of price and quality) would yield similar results. I used to sell electronics in Sears... No one can tell me that anything other than a Hitachi, Panasonic, or Sharp is worth purchasing. If you stare at all brands side-by-side (which I had the opportunity to do for 8 hours a day), you will see the immense differences between those three brands and everything else. And I'm sorry this happened to you. In my opinion they should replace it with something similar.
  17. Hey, I used to sell electronics at Sears and I always tried desperately to prevent a customer from walking out of my doors with a Kodak! No offense to anyone. And I don't mean to start an avalanche of "I like my Kodak" posts. To each his own.
  18. I was just about to write about this after openning my Sunday paper and browsing through the Target ad. Hey, a 1GB card at retail costs $99 alone.
