Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2007
yuyi64 replied to 1angelnhvn's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I got lucky today at Target! I spotted two Graco Belmont Turbo booster car seats on the Baby Clearance endcap. These had been pulled off the shelf at this store several weeks ago and sent to salvage when they were still marked at $13.98. I took them to the scanner and they came up $2.34 today! Needless to say I bought both for my grandkids to use in my car. -
Shoebuy always has free shipping; you do not need any special link or code to get that!

Best Buy: Toshiba Notebook $399.00 ( 2/4 only)

I don't believe that's allowed under this site's forum guidelines, but I will post more info on the laptop deal as it becomes available. -
Best Buy: Toshiba Notebook $399.00 ( 2/4 only)
yuyi64 replied to klastar's topic in Offline Hot Deals
There are reports on other "deal" forums that Best Buy on 02/18/2007 will have the same HP laptop that they advertised on Black Friday for $399. This would be a better deal than today's $399 laptop since the HP comes with an Intel Core Solo processor. So if you didn't get the Celeron Toshiba just wait a couple of weeks for better specs at the same price. Or buy it now and try a price-match later when it goes on sale. -
It's supposed to be for regular price merchandise only (it states so on the coupon itself), but most of the time the cashiers don't read the fine print and give you the discount anyway.
-
They will take a printed coupon since many Reward Zone members choose to receive their coupons by e-mail. I use these printed ones all the time and haven't had any problems.

Best Buy: Toshiba Notebook $399.00 ( 2/4 only)

It definitely varies by region; it's $499 in my market ( not a good deal for a Celeron processor and only 512MB memory). Pass on this laptop unless you're desperate. -
Cruise Value Center...
yuyi64 replied to disneyaholicraquel's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
An "obstructed view" cabin is still considered an oceanview cabin by the cruise lines, that's why it's important to specify which cabin you want to book rather then letting the cruise lines pick your cabin. I always examine the deck plans for the ship I want to book a cruise on, and then select which cabin I want to book. This prevents getting assigned a cabin under the kitchen, bar, nightclub, casino, theater, etc. The only time you may not have too much choice is when you book a cruise at the last minute and the ship is almost full. -
YMMV= " Your mileage may vary". As used with respect to pricing, it means different stores (even within the same company) will have different pricing on the same item. This could be due to markdowns being local, regional, or even manager-originated.

This is probably YMMV. I was at my Sam's yesterday and they had a table of 560s for $19. I asked the lady that was stocking the table if these were on clearance and she told me they were not. They even had several unopened boxes under the table.

Carnival vs. Royal Caribbean
yuyi64 replied to disneyaholicraquel's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I think her post was rather humorous! Sadly, I've witnessed just about every funny situation she described; especially the lack of proper attire in the dining room and hot tubs turned into kiddie splash pools. Even worse are the parents (if you can call them that!) that turn their kids loose on the ship, totally oblivious to what their little darlings are doing. I miss the days when everyone on board acted properly and appreciated the wonderful experience that cruising is, without trying to dumb it down to the level of spring break or a frat party. My advice is to pick the cruise line, ship and sail date carefully so as to minimize the number of passengers that are likely to engage in boorish behavior. -
I doubt they'll let you use the coupon since OD considers media to be "technology", which is explicitly excluded in this coupon.

help...target sale on linksys wireless and router
yuyi64 replied to jcarr492's topic in Offline Hot Deals
They're two totally different items in the target ad. One is a USB wireless adapter: You would need this only if your laptop or desktop doesn't already have a wireless card. The other item in the ad is the wireless router itself: You definitely need this one to connect your computers wirelessly to your network, even if they have built-in wireless cards. Whether you need one or both depends on what you currently have. -
does it seem like all the retail stores sorta gave up today?
yuyi64 replied to bonedaddy333's topic in Offline Hot Deals
. I'm not sure why you didn't get one because I had the usual Target multi-page color circular in today's paper, just like I do every Sunday. -
The toys already went to 50% off or more (depending on the toy) a few days ago. The gift sets won't go to 50% off until 12/26/06.

Be careful not to get caught peeling off price stickers. Many retailers will kick you out of the store or ban you permanently if they catch you removing price tags, and in many municipalities you can be arrested for the removal of price tags (it falls under the "Intent to defraud" charge). -
Toshiba laptop $399 no rebates - Best Buy B&M
yuyi64 replied to RossMAN's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I think you'll see another $399.99 laptop from Best Buy before Christmas that will have an Intel Core Solo processor instead of the Celeron in this one. Just be patient and you will be rewarded. -
I scored the Panasonic PV-GS39 camcoder for $159.99 ( regularly $329.99 ) and the 8" portable DVD player for $69.99 ( regularly $139.99 ) at Best Buy. Those were the two items I had targeted as "must haves" when my day started at 4AM.

What would be the point of having doorbusters on BF if people could just buy or layaway those items ahead of time and get price matches later? I'm not aware of any retailer that price-matches BF doorbusters on previous purchases.

I believe that LNT requested that several Black Friday websites take down the adscan due to infringement of copyright laws. You didn't dream seeing the ad, it was posted on several sites yesterday.

Run to your local Walmart tonight! The night stocking crew was putting some out when I was there about an hour ago, so there's a good chance other Walmarts are restocking them tonight as well.

Found the Hamilton Beach ice shaver for $6.24 and the Chefmate microwave for $8.48 at my local Target yesterday. All the clearance smoothie makers and indoor grills were already gone! -
That's very similar to what happened at my nearest Walmart. They had a huge clearance aisle just a few days ago and it was gone when I went back yesterday. I searched the entire store and it was not relocated anywhere else. I thought perhaps each department's clearance had been moved back to its home department but even that wasn't the case since I could find no clearance within any of the hardlines departments. Where did it all go?
