  1. I saw a bunch at Ross the other day for $12.99 :)
  2. I'd get her the touch and let her use her own money after Christmas when the money will go further If she's old enough to want a Touch, then she should be old enough to realize that costs are pretty equal even if gifts aren't. I also second the Dollar Tree filler items if you are truly concerned, but she won't be. My DD is now 18 and for Christmas about 6 years ago, she wanted a Laptop. Her brother is 2 years older and already had one, so equalizing it that way wasn't happening, so he got a game system (I think it may have been the 360) and about 4 games and a controller and she got 1 laptop. They were both thrilled LOL
  3. I was in Kroger and they have a $5 coupon when you purchase a $25 card
  4. 5. If I were to dress up for Black Friday, it would be as a Walmart employee (complete with name tag) so that I could scope things out without being reprimanded :)
  6. you can add it to the existing subscription and it just extends the date by that many months. I think my son has about 3 years on his now :)
  7. TY! I got a pair of boots, a pair fo jeans and a pair of mules for $44.76 (tax sucks LOL)
  8. Shopping is so fun Money saving strategy Gifts for everyone!
  9. I've done Walmart first for the last 2 years or so, and since they are a 24 hour store, they are open, so there was no reason to camp.
  10. I like the Cell Phone idea :) What about a Kindle or an Ipad?
  11. My son wanted an alienware laptop LOL his was definitely the most expensive. My 7 year old niece wants her own cell phone. That seems weird to me.
  12. I usually fill a cup or bag or stocking with little stuff from the dollar spot and some candy. For Christmas I add a cute puzzle or Play Doh to the usual pencil/eraser/tattoo I have a little dilemma this year, though. they split my class into 2 this year. I have the younger kids (freshman/sophomores) and the older group is next door. I'm thinking I'll buy for all 14 kids because the older group were my kids for 2 years and it's not their fault they got split
  13. Check Target's clearance. I don't know if your nephews are into Bakugan, but Target has a Bakugan game with that little ball for $14.98
  14. We started August 4th. As of Saturday, BTS is still 30% off
  15. My daughter bought a Macbook Pro last Friday (Tax free weekend). She got an educational discount of $100 plus a discount on the AppleCare, too. Sometimes you can find some nice ones on Apples site as refurbed. We almost went that route until we calculated the tax and the discount. She got the 13 inch one because she likes little computers :)
  16. Thanks Patty!! My daughter has decided on a MacBook Pro and with the money she's saving on Educational Discount and the taxes, she will probably hit the Prime Outlet . I'll make sure she checks their site before she goes out tomorrow
  17. I don't know about fantastic, I usually buy it when I need it for the room and just get it at Walmart, but I'll start comparing and looking though. We have a Walmart card through the school for class supplies, so that's usually what I do :) Sometimes Michael's will have some at 50% off that are pretty colors. I haven't been there in a while though. I used to go there before we were told about the Walmart card LOL
  18. I get all the penny/cheap stuff from office depot and staples each week. Oh, I don't have little kids anymore. Mine are 18 and 20 and only need pens, paper, and notebooks.
  19. I always use my card at Target because they can look it up if you lose the receipt.
  20. Yes, they are allowed to send the friend passes (or whatever they are called) just like a regular prime account :)
  21. Do you have an entertainment book. Sometimes there are coupons in them. I think that may be the best price, especially since It's 9 days, and you can typically get a good deal for a week, but extra days are charged at full price
