  1. I love #2, but Could you reverse them, maybe? It's kind of chilly here on BF and I will probably be wearing at least a jacket, so no one would see the back.
  2. Are you making workboxes? I'm looking for some new ideas for some if you wouldn't mind sharing. After 5 years, I'm bored with ours LOL We've made most of the ones out of the Workbox binder and a bunch out of Tasks Galore LOL
  3. I don't know where you are, but the Nashville Craigslist has a lot of them for $65 - $75. Pawn shops sometimes have them. I saw them a few years ago when I was looking for a Sax.
  4. I shop in Hendersonville, TN and the Kindle they have is still full price.
  5. I got my limit of cap erasers and index cards and a lot of the FAR stuff. I am going to have to go a couple of times this week. I still haven't bought the FAR copy paper so I can still use that to hit the $5 mark, and my staples only had the apple post its, not the hearts or stars, so that is at least 2 more trips LOL At my staples, they only had the Pentel Finito pens in the BOGO pack (6 pens, 3 asssorted color, 3 black) still for $2.00, so I picked that up, just to try. I kind of like them. They are a lot finer than my normal pen, but the ink is smooth and dark. It will be good for those little boxes on the forms I have to fill in. Sometimes my Bold pens are too big to make it look nice.
  6. That is so sad! and depressing!
  7. If you have the Star teacher's rewards card, I think that the limit is 15 or 20. I don't remember from last year. Sometimes they will ask me if I want more LOL
  8. YAY!!! Index cards at Staples!! I may take them up on the "teacher" limit for them. We use a LOT of them! Thanks Cindy!!
  9. Thank you! I will have to ask my dd if she wants it restored or the apps added lol
  10. How on earth did you get the nook app on it? It isn't available on the Appstore! I had been carrying around both the nook and the kindle for months lol
  11. I have one and I loved it, but I got the Samsung Tab 2 on Sunday because I had nook and kindle books, and google and amazon apps, and I wanted to be able to use them all on one device. I got the fire at christmas and really enjoyed it. When I see my daughter next, she is getting my fire, and I would never give her something that I didn't like!
  12. It wasn't in mine but it was in my co-workers, but she is planning to use it, so still looking lol
  13. thank you!! I haven't found the manufacturers coupon yet, but am still looking. There is a $10 rebate from hr, block too in the boxes that came from them in the mail.
  14. I get mine at Ross. They have different brands and are usually between $8.99 and $13.99.
  15. I just bought the spy pen yesterday LOL I need one for my classroom!!
  16. Some extremely nice parents of a student at the school found out about my camera and tablet being stolen and brought me a kindle fire, a camera, and cash. I love them and appreciate them so much. They made my heart happy, but I don't think I can accept such a fabulous gift from them. My principal says I can, but I am not comfortable with it. Remembering a post here about kids with lunch charges, I took the cash to the lunch room to help cover some of them. We have over 600 in charges at the school. This will cover a third of them. I got 3 ornaments from my other students, a coffee mug, a hummingbird feeder, a drink tumbler, and fuzzy socks!!! I love fuzzy socks!!!! From my daughter (19 and in college) I got a sticker for my car. Utm mom, a cross pen (she got it at a thrift shop type place, I told her not to get me anything lol) and a wallet I picked out and paid for because I don't want her wasting her money on me! She also did my stocking and got me a slinky and my ferrero raffaelo candies and a christmas throw. From my son 22, I bought myself a camera bag to replace the one that was stolen My husband got me a sweater and a pair of touch gloves so I can still use my phone I got some great chocolate and a notebook and a calendar from my sisters and their kids, but what I liked best was seeing my nieces, all 3 of them, liking their presents from me. I got 2 of them (19 and 17) cameras, and the third one (8) a netbook.
  17. My kids are older now (19, 22) so they have evolved a little bit. On Christmas, I make lasagna with all the normal sides, and the kids open all of their gifts that night. On Christmas morning they open their stockings and we head the 3 hours to my family to celebrate with them. This is the first Christmas without my mother, so I'm not sure how it will be.
  18. I am almost finished. I still have my brothers (hard to shop for) and my husband (need to hide it) to shop for, but all the nieces and my kids and friends are done. I am a target lover and have been done with the nieces for months. My kids each got a car, so that limited my fun for them LOL
  19. Maybe a nook or kindle? A camera? A spa day?
