I know--I put a couple of Little people toys in my cart and was really disappointed!!

i have a Toshiba Satellite (not the same model as the one on sale) and you can put memory in it--actually I put PNY memory in mine not long ago. I bought it in August and put more RAM in in September. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to--if not the PCI card, then a USB one (which my husband says they are a little slower, but I'm not convinced)

The specs on Toshiba's site don't list a wireless card either.

They have mail in rebates too--Easy Rebates are rebates you fulfill online :-) You still have to wait for your money, but you don't have to mail anything off.

Me too--I need 2 computer desks, a vacuum cleaner, and 2 Cabbage Patches but anything else I get is just gravy. I bought my inlaws gifts yesterday so that's 4 people off the list (Target has the Juan Valdez pod coffee pot free if you buy the variety pack of pod coffees) so that's done and cheap!! I need a vacuum for my mother, but that's at Kohl's so that's why they are first and my kids are too old for little kid toys and my husband already has all the big kid toys.

Maybe an intervention? I could definitely use one too--I should be cleaning and starting the pies and junk, but I'd rather be here!!

I have the Toshiba Satellite A65S computer--it's just a name, like the Dell Inspiron--it's not really a satellite linked computer :-) Mine has a built in Atheros Super G wireless connection but you still need the wireless router/wifi connection/cable and/or dsl :-) Good luck--I love mine--it's perfect for what I need.

Ok, probably a really stupid question--but what is an SB code? I tried to stack a Dellph code on top of the $612 off and it wouldn't let me--that's why I'm waiting till friday--I'm banking on them doing some sort of BF deal (I check every day LOL)

I'm playing with a really cool dell Inspiron 8600--and I'm really hoping that the sale doesn't end before friday (i'm buying friday whether it does or not) It has a Pentium M processor, 512 mb ram, 80 GB Hd, 128 MB video card and a DVD burner for $1298 :-) This is for my son, so I'm hoping it's a bit cheaper--my daughters was only $899 and I like for them to be a little bit even. If the sale ends, then I'll just kick a few of the options down until it hits the right price point, but the video card is required.

I did--so I went out shopping instead!!! I picked up a few little things I needed to feed the horde for Thanksgiving and went to CC to have them price adjust the notebook cases I bought last Friday :-) I really hate when that happens, but love that they do it!!

I have 3 digital cameras--my sony is easy to use, but not as easy as the ancient kodak :-) The digitrex is a great, cheap camera for my 12 year old to use (I don't freak about her dropping it, even though she never has LOL) I don't know anything about MP3 players except my son loves his creative nomad and my husband likes his Ipod :-) I plan to buy my daughter a cheap small one for christmas (maybe 256 MB) just because she is cute <g>

Best Buy was AWFUL last year--luckily, I don't see anything I want from there this year!! Last year the line was wrapped all around the store--the end of the line was by the place where they sell the cell phones and wrapped all around the back of the store and then they started weaving the line through the appliances when it was closer to the check outs!! I swore off Best Buy for BF last year :-( Wal Mart was easy--I went to 2 of them--The supercenter was open, they didn't have what I wanted shrink wrapped when I got there at 5:30 (the little appliances and the bikes are what I remember most) so I just put them in my cart and went to the Garden center to get the bike (it was raining and the boxes were wet!!) and was in line by 5:45. They had every lane open at 6:00. I went to Best Buy after that, then Kohl's then the little Wal-Mart where I picked up the DVD's that I'd forgotten that AM :-)
