Hoping from some sort of deal on the new Apple watch for hubby. Hoping Kohl's pulls through on that. Also an odd request, but I'm hoping someone has a good deal on area rugs...looking for a new 8x10 or 9x12 area rug for my living room. Never really shopped for rugs on BF before...

I've already been planning my decor for this year. I have an itch to use multi colored lights this year (which is VERY out of the ordinary for me) but last year I purchased a prelit tree with white lights. Wondering if I can talk hubby into letting me purchase yet another tree ...last year I didn't put up my decor until the end of November into December...then we went to Florida on vacation and it seemed like I hardly got to enjoy the decorations! This year I will probably try to get them put up the weekend of November 16th (that weekend starts a week of staycation for me )...I saw a gal I'm friends with on Facebook put her tree up today! When will you be putting yours up?

It's coming quick! What's your Black Friday budget for this year?

Probably around $1k this year. This is lower than normal for us. No "big ticket" items we want this year and we don't have any kids...we buy for our immediate family and I am usually able to make very nice gift bags for them for a low cost. (For example: this year the females will be getting a "the big one" throw from Kohls and bath and body works lotion and shower gel) Prayers! Car troubles are the worst!! -
Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, and Home Alone 1 & 2. Also love Christmas with the Kranks! Oh oh oh! and if my profile picture doesn't give it away, A Charlie Brown Chistmas

I don't have any of these stores close to me but the ads the past two days have me EXCITED!! The good ones are getting closer!! :D

Here's the deal, lol...I have no kids and I'm very crafty yet lazy at the same time...therefore most of the gifts I give end up in a bag with coordinating tissue paper and I will usually make frilly bows to put on the bag. I honestly don't mind wrapping, but most all the gifts I give are to adults and I figure they don't mind one way or the other so I take the easy way out. I don't wait until the last minute but I also don't do it too early...I usually do it about a week before Christmas. I do my "wrapping" in the floor of our guest bedroom...plenty of space and away from the cats who always think they need to help

I could not agree more....growing old waiting on them! I'd like to finish my lists...

Ours allows you to bring the items back later and swap like item for like item if you don't like the scent in the bag. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL

At this rate I'm wondering if this is all we're getting....still patiently waiting and crossing my fingers though Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL

I also agree on the laser printer! I had an older version of the $49.99 Brother laser printer on page 3 of the Staples ad and absolutely loved it...never changed the toner cartridge in it. 2 years ago I upgraded to the $79.99 wireless Samsung laser printer on page 8 of the Staples ad. I haven't had to change the toner cartridge in it yet either. I have absolutely loved both!!

I think I'll end up getting my Christmas lights here rather than Dollar General this year since they changed their prices ( ) I'm sure these would be of better quality for only 30 some odd cents more a box.

Wellll...this can be added to my "usually has a great ad but sucks hardcore this year" list [emoji19] Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL

Now that most of the bigger ads are out, I will just say that I am overall disappointed. These might be the worst ads I can recall since I've been doing BF (a good 12+ years)...there are a few things at a few stores I will be picking up. I am usually impressed and find tons of things that I don't really "need" but end up buying them anyways because I want them and they are such a great deal...not so much this year. I'm going to be really disappointed if we don't get another page of Dollar General's ad for Thursday and they don't have their usual $1 boxes of Christmas lights...those are a staple that I purchase every year. I was really looking forward to Big Lot's ad and I just saw it on a Facebook group and am thoroughly disappointed with it as well...not a single thing worth going for there. Disappointed but will make the best out of it and still have a fun time....and it will probably be the best year yet for my bank account lol

and things like a potroast with veggies just barely fits in the 6qt... Can't imagine it being fun trying to fit it in a 5 qt Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL

Hoping we're missing the Thursday portion as I don't see any $1 boxes of Christmas lights! Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL

boy oh boy...if their goal was to have the suckiest ad, I think they won!

Michael's, Dollar General, Big Lots

All I've seen thus far is the two pages of coupons. I'm hoping there's more to come as I usually stock up on quite a bit at Michael's.

I purchased the same Bissell carpet cleaner last year and like it a lot!

Does anyone own or have any experience with any of the automatic cleaning litter boxes that are in the ads thus far? Petco has the ScoopFree Ultra self cleaning litter box for $99.99 and PetSmart has what appears to be the standard model ScoopFree self cleaning litter box for $79.99. I've done some Googling and it seems people either love it or they hate it...We currently have the Breeze litter box systems and like them but the thought of scooping them less often is appealing (I currently scoop very frequently and any time I see our cats in the litterbox to minimize odors...) When I read reviews, people either say these particular self cleaning boxes are far superior to the Breeze systems or they say the Breeze systems are way better. Any input? Think anyone else will offer other brands/models or will this be it?
