  1. So, am I understanding this correctly...If you purchase the Samsung stainless appliance package for $1665 you get an additional $300 rebate card on top of that? Or is $1665 the price with the $300 rebate card already factored in? Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  2. Depressing. Was hoping they would have a good deal on a stainless steel appliance package...no packages and buying them separately with the prices they have doesn't seem to be saving much money.... Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  3. Well.....they do have a good deal on 1,000 TC sheets which I purchase every year...but I'm hoping Meijer or Walmart will have a comparable deal on them so I don't have to order these online Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  4. Oh how I miss Belk! Used to go there all the time growing up in North Eastern KY...My first BF living in Cincinnati I was very disappointed to discover that we have none around here! We do have Dillard's, however.
  5. even funnier you say that...I'm technically from Greenup, but I always go with Ashland as there's a slight chance someone might know where that's at [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  6. I don't usually go after big ticket items so I've never got in line at a crazy hour. We just go at our own leisure...most any electronic item I usually get online before we head out to hit the brick and mortar stores...Last year I did get in line at Sam's Club with a friend about an hour before they opened because she needed an Xbox bundle they had on sale. Fortunately once we got our ticket for the bundle, we were allowed to go sit in our car until they opened the doors so it wasn't too bad at all.
  7. Possibly, maybe, slightly interested in the 1st gen Apple watch for myself...not quite sure I want one enough, though. I know I definitely want one of the older generations if I do end up getting one...other than that, it looks like I won't even be going to Target this year...it sucks (not to sound ungrateful, as I'm very thankful for all the hard work that is put into getting these ads up!)
  8. Oh, wow! That's my hometown! Surprised to see someone on here from there!
  9. Absolutely worth it! Over the past few years we have slowly changed out every single bulb in our home with Hue bulbs (including our outside lights)! I see someone has already answered but yes they can be scheduled and scheduled independently. We've had our oldest bulbs for going on 4 years now and they still haven't needed to be replaced so I can't answer that question. If you get the plain white Hue bulbs (which is what most of ours are...we don't even use the color changing function of the ones we have that have the ability to change colors) they are substantially cheaper. 10. Hmmmmm....that self cleaning litter box caught my interest. Seems to have good reviews when I Google it. Anyone have any experience with it? We currently have the Breeze system litter boxes. Sent from my iPad using GottaDEAL
  11. I never quite understand this ad...seems to be the same price that stuff is on regular days...but then again I don't go there often...just every few months for a cheap screen protector for my phone.
  12. About $3,000...but 2 of it (hopefully less) will be for an appliance package to replace our kitchen appliances. The rest will be for everything else (gifts, wants, needs). We pay for everything with our credit card for the cash back but ALWAYS immediately pay it off. The ultimate goal is to spend significantly less than what we budgeted for. 13. Waiting on all the ads to decide but it usually ends up being Walmart first. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  14. Absolutely love Yankee candle's Christmas Cookie scent. Also love the Winter scent by Bath and Body Works. Today I just purchased a Peppermint Martini candle from Yankee that also smells lovely!
  15. Both. I get a decent amount of stuff online...but would BF really be BF without venturing out into the craziness? Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  16. So far all of the ones I have seen have been a worse deal than what I got mine for a few months ago...I have the 6qt and Kohls had it on sale for $69.99 plus $10 Kohl's Cash a few months back...I was expecting to see comparable or better deals. (Not that I'm in the market for another, just an observation...however buying a second one might not be a bad idea lol)
  17. It's too early for me to give my opinion but I do think the JcPenny ad and its 730k mail in rebates sucks.... Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL

  19. Thank you so so much! So excited! Congrats to everyone else that won!
  20. We use our AmEx card for most all purchases. Absolutely love the cash back rewards...we always pay it off immediately so we never pay interest. Also have a Kohl's card for anything we will be purchasing from there. We have the Target Redcard debit card but I usually never have anything on my list from Target...it's there if I need it. Our PayPal account was compromised last month and someone from Russia took it upon them-self to purchase a $2,000 laptop ...PayPal refunded us the money and we immediately closed our account with them...if it's that easy to gain access to the money in our checking account (even with all of PayPal's security features in place) I want no part of it...I know that's probably an overly excessive thing to do..but oh well. My biggest tip if you plan on making all of your purchases on a credit card like we are is to ALWAYS have the money set aside to immediately pay it off...you do not want to be paying interest on your good deals...or any purchases for that matter.
  21. I buy several of the $1 set of 100 lights from Dollar General every year...the $2 evergreen garland that Michael's always has...and I usually buy several new towels from Kohl's every year as something always tends to happen to several of mine throughout the year. I avoid the cheapo appliances and $2 movies like the plague...never understood the appeal. I guess they have a particular purpose and crowd...I don't want all the movies (that I can easily buy/rent online) cluttering up my house and I prefer to invest in more expensive, quality appliances rather than the cheapo, throwaway appliances. Forgot to mention that I most usually always end up with 1 or 2 sets of 1,000+ thread count sheets from whoever has the best price on them...last year it was Walmart and the year before that was Meijer.

  23. I'll be following this post as well...I never thought of that. We're going to Orlando in December and still haven't booked our flight... (long story of waiting on our credit card company to issue us points we were planning to use to purchase the flights)...I may end up booking on BF if they have any specials! 24. I will have to look at it when I get it out of the box. If I remember correctly, it'a not made like most trees that have the removable bottom rod. (It's so hard to describe these types of things)...if it does, then that would probably be better for me to try out!
  25. Corn pudding! (The name sounds so vile to me and because of that, I refused to try it for years...boy was I missing out...absolutely the most delicious thing ever!) I make it every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas and it is always a hit! A delicious comfort food. I usually double this recipe and use a larger baking dish. 1 can of creamed corn 1 can whole kernel corn 1/4 pound of butter softened 1 package Jiffy cornbread mix 8 oz of sour cream Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Put butter in 2 quart casserole dish, place in oven until melted. Remove casserole dish and add creamed corn, kernel corn, corn muffin mix and sour cream. Mix well, bake uncovered approximately 30 minutes.
