It's a gloomy, rainy, cold day here in Cincinnati...BF/the holidays have really been on my mind today so I'm listening to Christmas music on Pandora, looking at decoration ideas on Pinterest, and browsing the forums here. I'm what I would consider a "seasonal" member here...I only read/post from mid September through the end of November...every time I make my first visit of the year to the forums here I know my favorite time of the year is almost here!

We have a Samsung front loader and I cannot say enough bad things about it...I'd give anything to have a regular non HE top loader again...

This year we will be shopping for all new stainless appliances (Fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher) for our kitchen. I've been referencing last year's ads to try to get a general idea of how much we will need to spend. Hoping to spend less than $3k. The less, the better...but also don't want to end up with terrible quality appliances. Last year Lowe's had all 4 pieces (Samsung brand) for $2,225...hoping to find a similar deal this year. Does anyone have any experience with buying large items like these on BF? I assume retailers allow you to schedule delivery/pickup at a later date?

We put most of our inside decor up this weekend! Outside decorations will go up on Blackfriday evening!

We have the Roomba 650 and LOVEEEE it!! It moves over all of our floor types (tile, hardwood, and carpet) without any issues! We have 4 cats so this thing is a godsend!

Not to hijack this thread, but I have several women I plan on getting gifts for at bath and body this year. Does anyone know how much the shower gel and lotions usually are there on Blackfriday? Trying to get my BF budget in order!

The $199 laptop is a possibility for me

For those in the market for a basic wireless laser printer- I bought the $69.99 Samsung last year and can't say enough good things about it! Perfect for document and coupon printing! I'd buy another in a heartbeat if I had the need for another.

Our pots and pans are in rough shape so I'll be replacing those...my laptop is on its last leg so that will be replaced as well.

I'm in the market for a new laptop for myself this BF. I don't have many requirements as the only thing I use my computer for is couponing and light Web surfing...I am however wanting a 17" screen. So far it seems like Sams Club has the best deal.

Well, yesterday I had a belt break in one of my tires...so ended up not being able to wait until BF to purchase...kinda bummed...but at least it will be one less thing I have to worry about buying on BF! ($450 including alignment at a local tire shop...not sure I could've done much better on BF anyways)

Hmmm. Thanks guys! And thanks for the welcome! Might just skip out on buying them on BF...my local Sears closed back in the Spring...closest one is about an hour away. The $100 gift card sounds appealing but the more I think about it, most places I go to always have the buy 3 get one free deal which works out to be about the same. This year I'll be working Thursday night until 5am Friday morning and then working Friday evening as well...not buying tires will be one less thing to get in the way of my serious shopping, lol!

Hey everyone! I've been Black Friday-ing for several years now, but have never really paid attention to any ad (other than an ad scan I found a few minutes ago from WM last year) to see if they have deals on tires. I'm almost due for a new set and it's too close to BF to buy them now if they'll have them on sale then. Has anyone purchased them on Black Friday before? How do places such as Walmart go about installation? I've always assumed their tire center would be closed on BF? Installation on a later date? Fill me in!
