The games are always fun, even though the BF experience will be different this year I'm still excited...

I honestly don't know when I'll start this year... I'm in the mood now, but will probably wait until at least the end of October beginning of November...at least...

Only problem is some GDers haven't even logged on for the season yet and won't be until we are well in to October...

I think I will miss rushing around to get allll of the items I want on my list and then jumping in line to wait to cash out the most... I just like the hustle and bustle of the crowds and the excitement it brings!!!! It's the only time I like crowds!!!!

Lol, I guess, but I'm partial to Fall weather myself... I am especially looking forward to Fall this year since all the Summer festivals were cancelled... Noooooo, lol... I love Fall so I am glad the cooler weather has arrived...

Absolutely agree!!!! I have been discussing this with co-workers @ job #2 as we are a major box store and it would only make sense to start sales in October and run them throughout the season to try and bring in some of the revenue that BF weekend brings in... Or increase online sales by offering all items online during BF weekend... Also, they can still utilize the in-store personal shoppers on BF instead of having the store open to customers and still offer curb side pick up...just a few ideas they may come up with that may work...

Ahhhhh August... I've been working from home since April 1st and our recent town hall via Zoom was to inform us that my company doesn't know when they are bringing us back to the building... I'm ok with that, lol, I am blessed to still have 2 jobs (I work p/t at a box store)... oh and sell $5 jewelry on the side as well (this business has been thriving during this whole pandemic so if anyone is interested...)...but I'm so sorry to hear of those who have lost their jobs during this time [emoji17]...

I think online shopping should be the way to go this year...maybe do it like Kohl's and make it for the whole week or like Walmart and have it over weekend where certain deals are on certain days and times... I just can't see it working the same way this year as it has in the past even if each store is open and has the max number in the store according to pandemic guidelines that's still a lot of people walking in an enclosed area at one time...

I was supposed to be leaving for NC tomorrow to visit my mom, dad, brother and his family, but that trip was cancelled due to NC being considered a hot spot [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24][emoji24]...now they have to come here due to a death in the family...glad I still get to see them, but I wish it wasn't under these circumstances...

June 30th, half the year is over and so much has happened...some good and some bad [emoji17]....but I count it all joy and look to the hills from whence cometh my help!!!! Happy Tuesday!!!!

No problemo...I think this is a great idea... I know the minimum amount is low and that's fair, but when I'm shopping I try and follow a theme and get a few gifts within the theme based off of the questions and most often than not what's in the back of my mind is "what if this is the only gift this person will get this year"...

I received my package this week!!!! Holding out til Christmas as usual...this may be the only gift I receive this year, but I am just grateful for life, love and family...Thank you secret santa!!!!

Didn't really need much for myself this year... Rite Aid TG morn for detergent and wrapping paper... Got to WalMart about 4:15 and was able to pick up everything I wanted:Paw Patrol table and chair set, slippers and a book for the 2 y/o... A scooter, a bunch of DVDs and a book for the 7 y/o and the Google smart kit for $35 a gift for my daughter...oh and new Rubbermaid containers...I hopped in a line and waited for it to open for about an hour or so and was 4th in my line so check out went by quick.. Swing by Old Navy around 6:20 and picked up the $1 cozy socks. Hit The Christmas Tree Shop about 7ish and picked up a cute $7 miniature tree w/ornaments and a box of 50 lights for $2.50 for the 7 y/o to decorate for his room and 3 boxes of 60 ct coffee for $12.99 each...that was it for Thanksgiving day... Friday morn I overslept thinking Lowe's opened at 7 and they opened @ 6 [emoji849] so I missed the possible chance of getting a $500 gift card...but picked up my poinsettias and batteries... All in all the crowds weren't that bad for me I feel I was in and out of each store pretty quick this year...

December 1st!!!! The count down begins...only 23 more shopping days!!!!

Yeah,the Google smart kit sold out as soon as or before it went live?!? I believe they have one, two maybe 10 in stock online so everyone is forced to go into the store where they may be more apt to buy other things...and forget about the movies [emoji849] none of the ones I want are at the sake price...into the store I go I guess...
