  11. I've been waiting to see how much those Rubbermaid containers were going to be on sale for....we've had about 200 on the risers for about 3-4 weeks now and $7.99 is a good deal!!!! I will be grabbing a few of those and maybe the Keurig for my daughter...

  15. Many stores are selling items at BF prices in the weeks leading up to BF, but will still have some things on sale for the actual BF. Unfortunately, we don't know what those items will be right now... maybe purchase what you think is a good deal, wait for the ads for BF week to come out and compare, then decide if you keep or return what you bought for a better deal...I know, this may be a hassle, but right now it's too hard to say if there will be better deals...
  16. That extra 30% off coupon on the back may have me taking a 2nd look through the ad...
  17. Congrats winners!!!!
  18. I could go for more throws, even though I already bought some when they were on sale a couple of weeks ago
  19. All the things I don't want to wrap [emoji23][emoji23] although over the years I have graduated to also using gift bags to hold stocking items because the stockings aren't big enough to hold the throws... I usually try and put candy, their favorite snack item, gift cards, lotion, body spray...
  20. One year, a friend of mine told me about the calendar she makes for her mother when Shutterfly offers a free calendar (week or so before BF, only pay for shipping)... So I decided to make my mom one and every year her request is that calendar with the grands and great grands and her preference of of a wall calendar instead of a desk one... Since I'm only paying shipping it seems like a very inexpensive gift, but she loves it and saves each one and has pictures to look at as the grands grow... I usually have it shipped directly to her so she gets it way before Christmas, but her birthday is the week of Thanksgiving every year so it's a birthday/early Christmas gift [emoji2960]
  21. I'm going to miss the rush and excitement of finally getting my items on my list, standing in line and cashing out feeling like I hit the jackpot...rushing from store to store until the early morn...but I'm sure my body will be thanking me this year that I can't put it through the trauma and must shop mostly online...
  22. Since I will be making and freezing mine this weekend... Simple recipe, but so good... Homemade Cranberry Sauce 2 bags fresh cranberries 1 jar orange marmalade 3/4 Cups brown sugar (or to your taste) 3/4 to 1 Cup water *Place all ingredients in sauce pan and stir in high heat for 15 mins. *Once cranberries start to pop, reduce heat and cook an additional 10-15 mins. Let cool completely, freeze or refrigerate until ready to serve.
  23. The tree and batteries may get me in the store on 11/8...
  24. One more week to sign up!!!! Can't wait to get my person so I can shop!!!!
  25. It's been a hard year for many, but I am still excited for the season!!!! I may be the odd ball out, but I'm grateful for the slower pace , so to speak, and the change in the way we are doing BF this year... Sure I'll miss the hustle and bustle of the crowds because that was one of my favorite parts of it all, but I have shopped BF every year for the past 15+ years and whether I have money to buy a little or a lot or whether I had to stand in a line in the freezing rain or snow or walked right in the store it was all exciting and fun to me... This year is no different with all the changes, I'm just glad I still get to shop, but I will gladly shop online, cook my Thanksgiving dinner, put my feet up and fall asleep afterwards...
