Welllll, I have 2 jobs and will try and take my f/t job off, which is what I do every year... Target is job #2 and they are asking those of us who know how to do fulfillment to come in at midnight TG night to fill all the online orders they are anticipating will be made before the store opens... I will probably work it and then go back in for my regular evening shift on BF...

I feel like they heard me [emoji23] I am glad they are doing it this way... WalMarts here have been controlling the number of customers that enter the stores every BF for years so I don't see it being any different this year... Target is asking for some of their workers who know how to work flex (online fulfillment) to come in at midnight Thanksgiving night to work an 8 hour shift to fill all the online orders they believe they will get on that day... Not sure what time they are opening BF yet... This for sure will be interesting... I know there sales start Nov 1 as far as BF type deals, so a little different than how WalMart is doing their's...

1. Every year, they try something new with checkout and every year it's still a mess. 2. So glad we bought these tents last Black Friday, now the whole family can camp out in line. 3. So many people waiting in this line, like they're going out of business or something.

No budget, my kids are grown so anything they receive is appreciated. I know I will shop for the regular items like Christmas Eve PJs, throws and cozy socks... I've already purchased a couple of items for the grand youngins. Other than that idk what else I'll be purchasing.

Not gonna lie, I am glad they are closed this year, however, I will miss the shopping experience and all its chaos that the day brings... But since the stores will be closed I definitely will be doing more online shopping, cooking, eating, spending time with family and napping that day [emoji51]

I officially bought the first gifts of the season about 2 weeks ago... Online shopping and in-store for me, same as last year, only I need to pay attention to shipping times... I work p/t at one of the box stores so the discount comes in handy [emoji2960]... I will miss the hustle and bustle and going to the store early, grabbing my items and jumping in line to be the 2nd or 3rd person to cash out when the registers open up (sigh)... the experience will definitely be different this year [emoji53]

I loved Christmas in July and they even extended it longer than they planned to... I think they knew everyone needed a little Christmas for just a little while longer... Can't wait until October when it officially starts for the season!!!!
